Its called Space Arc, but there isn’t much gameplay to it yet to keep people playing.

Since it’s clear where all the particle lands, why not add secondary particle emitters for the impact of the droplets on the water?

Yes and no. They’re just different armor pieces. Players will be able to edit individual pieces of armor for different parts to create a unique character look. That combined with weapon camos will let players be a lot more expressive.

This will actually be used and not as a joke. My game requires a little bit of loading and unloading between rounds, things that could take up to 2 minutes to do… Soooo, to hide that, here’s some credits! The credits will actually display everyone’s stats then the actual copyright stuffs, powered by blah, made with the blah and blah incorporated, all blah rights reserved and then after alll of that it’ll say “[numberofzombieskilled] of zombies were harmed in the making of this film.”

Basically in short, I’m copying L4D2’s credits, cuz why not.

I kinda of want to do smooth terrain, simply because adding irregularities in the terrain is much easier in this, but for this size of map, i think that might cause problems in loading times.

what do you guys think? should i just use smooth terrain?

In the end, you’ll use less polygons with smooth terrain then triangle terrain imo, plus as a bonus, smooth terrain already has LoD, so you wouldn’t lose as much detail as you would with triangle terrain… but that also depends on how your tanks function with smooth terrain.

yeah… that’s what killed that idea. i just tested it and performance is not good :T

not to mention the fact that smooth really doesn’t seem optimized for vehicles.

AND i got the scaling wrong, it would actually be (if i did that whole map) 20480x9216…
so… yeah… i doubt any players would be able to load that map.
