Just a screenshot of the viewport but I’ve been working on this airship today. It has no real purpose other than to show off some modelling techniques I’ve learnt in 3DS Max for University. 4.9k polys

A bit of backstory - last year I worked on a game called Speed Race (http://devforum.roblox.com/t/speed-race-featured-nomination/24242) over Christmas. The aim was to build a complete game within 24 hours of streaming time. I did it, and since then I’ve updated it a lot to get it to a point where its fairly popular.

This year I’m working on a game called “Sword Fighters” which is essentially a modern reboot of Sword Fighting Tournament.

There is also a levelling system, sword rarity (I only just started this) and some other stuff like map voting.

I’m not a graphics designer, so I try to do the best I can with my UI. I’m pretty happy with the look of these things.

(some very temporary, nonsensical sword descriptions :smiley: )

The final 2 hour stream is tomorrow, but I’ve got a lot more work to do to add polish, so I’ll probably be working on it next week :slight_smile:

Well, I have been working on the game for about 3 months now, so I guess there’s just a lot of practicing going on every time I make a new song…

(…although at the same time, I was able to make and then clear the One More Extra Stage song consistently when I was first making the game, so I guess it’s some sort of intrinsic ability to play rhythm games, after having played various rhythm games for more than a decade, but that’s just what I think)

Hook me up with a Tesla Model 3!

Edit: Great job by the way on that car. It’s got a simple style to it, but I instantly know it’s a golf. Really impressive.

Ooo, a challenge.

I’d be really excited if you added a Model 3 to your game. The one thing I’ve seen other games fail to pull off is a sense of acceleration when driving electric. In Forza, things are too quiet. Never enough of that spaceship sound in driving games with electric cars.

Electric would add an interesting angle to the game, I’ll see what I can do. I’ve got a lot of time until school starts back up so I’m hoping to crank out a lot of cool stuff.
