I can’t see anything >_<
Understandable, i make the contrast really high to make good the lighting, it will be visible when the new lighting voxels comes out
EDIT:
you can desactivate the effects in-game, here is how it looks without lighting effects
Reminds me of a game I never asked for…
same, i can’t wait to see your wiring tycoon! my dad knows all about wiring since he graduated about that stuff, keep going!
Make the gray text white Deadstar!
I saw this and I had to point it out instantly.
The races, please don’t display them like that. It doesn’t really look right, imo.
Another thing, I can’t see some of the text as it blends in the background. I suggest a textoutlinetransparency of .78, or add background to the UI.
And grey isn’t the best choice for text colors.
I’ve been working on buildings for the lobby of my obby.
They will be going into the mountain side like this
Ohh I’ve been following your reddit posts and game for long enough to know where this is headed… Can’t wait!
Thanks. Call of Duty is my dream game!
I’ll have it’s parachuting into the giant gas enclosed loot island update out tomorrow.
Well, I’ve decided I’ve kinda hit a brick wall in terms of where I really want to take Sound Volblox as it stands, so I decided to rewrite the entire game.
Again.
Here’s my current progress on Sound Volblox III: Electric Memories
Just another tease…
Its important to note that all of the textures you see here are procedurally generated in Cycles and are still works in progress. The entire scene is a little over 15,000 polygons, expected to double when I finish modeling the MG-42 to replace the M249 SAW he is currently wielding as a placeholder weapon and re-attach the bullet belt to the MG-42. However for now, enjoy the rendered tease reveal.
@maplestick is there something I can do to make the hose have actual mesh detailing to it via nodes? Currently I just have a texture going to the materials node thingy’s displacement property.
cc @GregTame (psst i need a cooler LMG for him, ideas pls bro)
I’d say the mg42 would look excellent with the Wallensteinesque look of the model.
I am aesthetically PLEASED
Using the blur effect would look great with that GUI (I think).
Taking the advice from a friend, I did some post-processing on my teaser, gotta say I like it a lot more now.
well, if you wanted to play around with it.
i got the wiring part done(ish). but removal of gates is temporarily disabled due to a weird crash that happens when you do.
