Current goal… post more of what I’m doing here and on twitter!
Tonight I was prototyping a canyon-y themed game. I made some low poly trees in blender to go with my low poly car and mocked up some lighting. Once I’m totally happy with what I’ve got, I’ll be making a solid 4,000x4,000 stud map.

Okay, time to stop messing with bullet time and start developing again. I’ll start off by adding a visible and audible notification that tells you that you need to reload:
Next up I will make the AI’s be killable:

Next I will be making the Player be killable and scripting the game-related aspects.
How did you get the translucency?? OMG it’s perfect.
I bet that’s gonna go viral because someone’s gonna think that it’s an actual teaser for the next star trek movie…

The first thing that I can think of is having a pre-rendered fuzzy image that’s clipped by the borders of the smaller window. Overlay it on top of the regular window and boom, blur!

Nah, I had made them for a client, but I realized I posted the transparent .png
Which meant anyone could steal it

I would have put a watermark on it. Anybody can easily make that transparent, though they shouldn’t.
Watermarks aren’t fool proof…
