Found out a cool visual (unintended, probably) feature in the Future is Bright demo. Setting the transparency/reflectance on a MeshPart greater than 1 has interesting effects…

Reflectance values in order: 0, 1, 2, 4, 20, 200


The results depend entirely on the skybox however, and changing the part’s colour also changes the effect:

Trying to fix one bug… 4 days of work and I somehow made it worse but don’t know what’s causing it.

I saw on the roblox reddit a couple people were trying to make the smallest part, so I gave it a shot

The Great Gameplay Rewrite of Sound Volblox is finally almost done…

Everything has been implemented but camera motion (I have yet to come up with a good way to edit this in the first place) and negative notes (the blue/black notes) actually behaving properly; normally they’d damage you for hitting them on-time and count as a Critical if you let it go untouched, but here they act as normal notes.

Also lots of bugs to squash. Lots.

I’ve been working on an animation for a few months, and I’m currently in the final phase of re-recording older clips which I’m no longer satisfied with. For anyone interested, here’s a comparison between a series of clips I recorded around August of 2017, and the same clips re-recorded today.

I’m getting ready to take my previous look into terrain generation and make it 100x better. I’ve been prepping a bunch of different random “generators” for things like trees and mountains, I know it’s “simple” but this random mountain cluster generator has such nice proportions :drooling_face:

I am also currently working on the color picking mechanism for the Character Customization Menu as well as the Save Game System (data stores) for the game.
