I’m a huge fan of the armour & weapon models in this game. The design quality is on another level.

As part of the effort to move players from humanoids to entities in Blox, I’ve been spending time writing my own camera and controller implementations to get everything in the game running under a unified system. Here I’ve used those new systems to reimplement my own freecam!

Once I implement replicated player entities, the camera will lock onto it’s position and rotation, and the controllers will effect that entity’s behaviour directly. I actually show the work-in-progress player entity in the video too :sparkles:

Finally got the inventory system to a point where you can swap item positions and the position is persistent between saves. Took more work than I thought it would, but now the foundation is pretty much done.

Is that just one part? :hushed: If so that’s incredibly useful!

well, not right now but you can make it look like one part if you make it smooth no outlines. good idea though!

Working on a Property Marketplace system for my new game where users can upload their builds to the marketplace for a fee and sell it to other users!

Users are able to preview properties and every build uploaded will have it’s own unique code that lets the creators share their builds with other people!

That is amazing. I love seeing games that manage to test the limits of Roblox, and this is an examples of those times. (also this is the 2019th message, yay!)

I hastily cobbled together this joke poster before RDC. Gus was gonna have a bunch of them printed to hand out yesterday, but we glossed over the fact that print shops aren’t open on weekends.

The squatting fat guy and “Buy Apocalypse Rising 2” are inside jokes from our Discord server.

Wanted to build something that got me into building so I made a homestore which is still currently in wip. Although now I am making small changes to the build as well as finding areas which have either duplicate or parts that are pointless (unseen) so I can delete them :happy1:

Back again with actual footage of Blox running on my phone to demonstrate touch support! Everything you see on screen (except for the roblox menu in the corner) is completely 100% custom:

This gon b gud :stuck_out_tongue:

Added a chance for a cave to get randomly generated.
This took two days because I couldn’t get it to work using rays even though the way I was doing it made complete logical sense to me. In the end I ended up using Region3 to check whether the position next to a block is empty or not.

In this video there’s a 100% chance for a cave to get generated when you click.

I love it! But it’s very thick :frowning: I think if it was a little bit less bulky, it’d make a clean looking UI

Made the randomly generated caves a bit more like caves and less clustered.
On average, this removes 138 blocks in a large cave.
