Why am I receiving notifications for someone else's post edits?

3 days ago, I got a notification for someone else’s post edit, and I don’t really know why.

I just ignored it.

But 6 hours ago I got another notification like that:

Does anyone know why it’s happening? Why I’m receiving notifications for posts unrelated to my account?
They weren’t a reply to me, they didn’t mention my name. And even if they did, the notification icon would be different.

I have both of them on Tracking. Unfortunately that doesn’t seem to explain why I’m getting notifications for some random, single posts in threads I have previously posted in.

There are either 2 things happening, either this is a glitch, or setting a post to tracking makes a notifaction when a post is edited but this feature isn’t told.

Did you flag those posts? Same thing happens to me whenever I flag posts and they get hidden.

Thing is, these posts are not hidden.
I also did not flag them before.
I’m starting to think it’s some glitch, as starmaq has suggested.

You should report this bug to the Discourse meta forums, on my end I cannot reproduce the bug (it happened to me as well a while ago, but for the life of me, I can’t remember what triggered the glitch)
