Almost finished with the showcase, hope you all like it!
I am currently working on a dual rendered scope for a game I am making, and its turning out really really nice:
Notice: The map is not mine, but a freemodel of DeadzoneZackZak’s map from “DeadZone” back in 2013. I am just using it for reference because of its large scale yet low part count.
Hit me in the feels with the Deadzone map my dog. I used to work with ZackZak back when he was making games on Roblox.
I played his game back in 2013, and I spent hundreds of hours on his games and I became friends with @DeadzoneZackZak. Him and the other survival game god @Gusmanak are the two reasons that I became inspired to develop games on ROBLOX, and I couldn’t be anymore thankful for those two people.
The crouch transition still looks very linear/snappy.
Since you’re already utilizing springs it could look neat to utilize springs for crouching more like they do it here at the 8 minutes mark
made an entrance cutscene thingy for the moyai guy
Working on an idle relaxing adventure game. The game centers around the idea of ‘not having to do much’, enjoying life in a virtual village.
Game overview
There’s no real objective in the end unlike a lot of other games, maybe there is one, but that is all up to players to decide their overall goal. You could become the richest villager, or enjoy a simple life in your hometown(the village)
Here’s a snippet of the house(it’s a 2D game)
I’m not sure why I think this is so cool…
I’ve been playing around with an EDM type beat:
made a helicopter, new effects, points go towards buying defenses. The roblox place currently published does NOT have the helicopter yet.
Working on adding more air blocks to Machine Making Game, so far things like planes and quadcopters are possible!
Looks like your game could be serious fun to play!
Attempting to make a simple custom “humanoid” using the new constraints and raycasting.
There, as requested.
After some feedback on the RES Project menu, I decided to remake it again, even though it’s no longer customizable since that would possibly make everyone blind just like the last version.
The new menu is a blue contrast background, while still keeping the old “rain” effect, there’s a new image that keeps changing every 10 seconds, it shows the images of currently available characters (protagonists, secondary characters, bosses, etc) in the game, as well as staff members.
I love it
I’m getting a little bit of Minecraft underwater music vibes from it, except it’s calmer & more relaxing.
Have you ever made similar type of music, but more space-themed?
I would love it if your music played in the background of my space game. I barely began working on it, so it will take some time before it’s out, but I have most of it planned out already, so I could PM with details if you’re interested
