Adding sound effects to UI makes it so much more immersive (All UI done entirely with studio tools):
For the UI, I used a website called Canva Color Wheel Calculator to pick my colours. It uses colour theory to chose what colours fit bestnext to each other. For this UI, I used the option “Monochromatic”, meaning it is a darker shade of each colour for the UI.
Last time im posting a FAL or a variant of it but i thought this west german version of the fal was cool

Have been working on bits of code for various minigames to go with a larger project.
Here’s some blocky terrain (flat, simple) for something that needs digging (nothing as cool as Elttob is/was doing with the Minecraft-inspired terrain). It’s currently set to a 64x64x64 block cube (256 studs ea. dim). It’s running with a loop that punches holes in the ground under the grass layer to see how big the part count gets with random digging. Can left-click on the ground to remove blocks.
Working on a first person Metroid game heavily inspired by Metroid Prime. I began development on this in the spring of 2019 and gained help at the start of this year (2020). Credit to my partner @Maikokii for the building in these images.
@EchoReaper (I feel you would be interested).
Love the UI, keep up.the amazing work
give room chan a big weapon, now.
The hover sound was really nice but I feel like the other sounds are very alarming, almost frightening especially if you have headphones on… From personal experience sounds on UI elements are better if they are non interruptive and pleasant to the user!
Metroid has brought me so many good memories of playing the old games. Nice to see how developers are recreating this topic.
no way no one should ever wield that much power
It’s incredible how people can do this type of modeling. Good work!
