I started working on a custom Humanoid for my upcoming game, and so far I can handle 100 npc chasing me, while having 60 fps. I haven’t added collision detection, so number might be lower in final product.

I’ve decided to start on an RTS tower defense style project in late January, and I am almost done with the essentials. I have a ton of ideas for where I’m going to go with this and I’m pretty excited to show it once I’m finished with the main product.

To clarify, the nodes on the baseplate controls the pathfinder (pink represents walkable space, blue represents “useless”, or basically the pathfinder wont take them into consideration since there is no use for them, and red nodes which means that they are unwalkable space)

Units are also heavily optimized (they have a custom humanoid system), so having a lot of them on screen shouldn’t be too much of an issue. Same thing goes for the AI enemies.

Many things you see in the clips will be changed, such as the units, enemies, buildings, and the object you are defending.

I like the polygon style of modeling reminds me of the Playstation to Playstation 2 especially reminds me of Metal Gear Solid!

Out of curiosity does the car use constraints or raycasting, and bodymovers?
