I’m currently working on a Survival game mixed with horror game aspects, Not much of it is done yet but I’ve scripted the hunger bar and food. Working on scripting tools that drop on death, (Possibly) Crafting system and A custom inventory.
Does it have the same movement code as half life 2?
Mind explaining/giving hints on how you made that water foil? Looks super cool!
Is this just a passion project, or is it going towards a game? This looks incredible!
It’s just a beam that I update locally every render step. The positioning of the attachments, speed and curve sizes are all updated. It’s nothing too fancy - it just takes a lot of tweaking to get it looking nice.
Without the particles it also wouldn’t look nearly as good. They make it feel a lot more watery, and stop you seeing the weird seam between the two beams as clearly.
