I think it looks pretty good, although adding onto what @IceTheOneAndOnly said, maybe adding some more dark oranges and reds pixelated gradients to the ends of the floating rods.
Sorta like that how the dark reds slowly change from orange and then yellow.

Actually the texture pack I’m using, Bare Bones, is supposed to resemble Minecraft promo material, which is minimalistic. And the blaze that I made closely resembles my reference material.
