You gotta put Harry somewhere in the map
any information on it? such as purchasing or a discord server?
Good idea, I’ll take that into consideration and perhaps make it a badge
obby, but with buggy stilts
you already know this gonna be really painful fun to play!
Your building skills are just incredible
A few weeks ago, The Tooty Community teamed up with KubeWorks and Nexbit to create Platformer Kart—a game like Mario Kart, but with characters from various platformers! We already have Diceboy, Misfortune, Kube, Beebo, and Wavebot in the roster (with permission from the creators). Here’s some of the progress we’ve made so far! (Keep in mind some of the characters are standing still due to not being animated yet )
I am creating an RTS game with StarCraft 1 as the background.
Players can engage in battles with friends in the game. You can also engage in battles with computer AI.
At present, the basic DEMO has been completed and opened for testing by everyone.
The renderer I’m currently working on may require me to work with Actors.
An interesting development, to say the least.
My office at Bloxmart,
In the midst of financial constraints, my office finds its place within the printing room. The budget limitations have left no room for a proper desk, forcing me to improvise and craft one from humble cardboard boxes. As I navigate this challenging yet resourceful setup, I remain determined to make the most of my space and continue my work diligently.
I used to play AJ i joined 2016 and joined club penguin in 2011
Though I’ve already improved the swinging doors used at the still-incomplete Mary’s restaurant, I knew I could continue to make them better; Before, each door used its own copy of the “door-opening script”, which isn’t the most optimal way to program a Roblox experience.
As of tonight, doors now utilize tags; Any objects tagged as “StandardDoor” with a few attributes and a HingeConstraint will be detected upon server startup, and yes, like anything in my experience, it’s given a GUID. (This isn’t used when a player interacts with a door, but it should be used by NPCs to open doors, since I don’t know how else that I would script that.)
In this screenshot, you can see the required attributes, which define variables like the door’s open/closed “target angles” (which I can’t make consistent because HingeConstraints are very confusing), how far away that a door will automatically close, and the door’s name, which is used as the prompt’s “object name”.
Despite the update, doors still function like they did before it, as their “open” function is almost identical to what it was. This means the door will remain open as long as any player or “tracked NPC” is around it. Yes, that woman can still stand “menancingly” in the door, for those wondering about that.
Currently working on a Roblox 2D game with a 2D Physics Engine
The game name is currently unknown but it is expected to be a 2D survival game with multiplayer available to play.
- It’s made with Nature2D and some of my custom modules including CoroutineV2 and a custom character controller to support 2D movement with working physics.
A gif showcasing the current progress
The teleportation is still bad, but I am currently working on moving the background with the player, so it supports a lot of biomes without the usage of teleporters
Looks really good! Just curious, are you using Volumika?
i personally love those x buttons. probably my favorite that i’ve seen on roblox. i always wish developers would be more creative with their ui and do things like this. you should keep them
