I just updated my game for Controls. I’ve been working on it for a while now. It’s better if you play on PC because I haven’t updated mobile yet. If you play it give me some feedback on things I should add or fix… thanks

alien for my gas station overcooked style game
in it you have to work minimum wage to get the funds to repair your spaceship, you have laser guns and goodies to vaporize any unruly customers (or your friends) along with other good gimmicks
This year (more so recently) has been a big time for me to develop as a scripter, I’ve gone from placing tons of scripts to do tiny little things over and over to utilizing OOP and module scripts to build a ground up combat system for a dungeon crawler im working on.
It is a combat system that adapts its damage based on the combination of body parts hit and the portion of the animation that made collision to simulate momentum in causing more damage to other people (i.e You aren’t going to injure someone as much when reading your sword to strike as you are slicing down. And you aren’t going to deal as much damage hitting there arm as you are leaving a giant gash from head to toe.)
Below is a short demo:
(The read and white parts left behind are the hitboxes and are just for testing.)
Its a bit difficult to tell from the video but behind the scenes the game is adapting the damage based on the situation.
It is a bit confusing and I’ll make a better demonstration but if you have any questions about it feel free. It is due for some optimization but as a first time project I’m happy!
Is this going to be a plugin? If so I would pay robux for this
No, I don’t have the know-how to make plugins unfortunately. I just named parts accordingly, or put them in specified folders, and I got ChatGPT to write me a code to convert certain parts into certain materials. In play mode, it converts, but in Studio, I keep it as blocks / spheres until I’m certain of where I’ll place everything, then I’ll just run it through the command bar and finish details, make things look a bit more natural.
I moved back to Ohio where I now have Wi-Fi again. As expected I picked back up where I left off and I just finished the overall lighting & building design for my game. I still need to add better SFX & furniture but I want to get the scripting parts out the way at this point so I’ll focus my attention on that.
But if you like building please give feedback if this is good or not:
The AI wasn’t supposed to wake up I don’t know how it did guess I’m still mid at scripting
Working on a translating app that uses speech to text as its main feature. With plenty of other features too.

completed a soviet bullpup prototype called the TKB-0146, using pure CSG (might convert to mesh later)
(edit: this was specifically model 7, which had a 3-round burst instead of 2)
Did you mean to private your video? I’m unable to view it.
