not a gameplay picture or anything, but just a silly image using ingame assets. [/quote]
For a moment that person in the background between the clonetroopers (that is what they are right? i forgot… sorry im bad with star wars :() looked like Doc Brown from Back to the Future. No idea why, it just looked like that to me for a few moments.
Well since summer is here I’ve been working very hard on Friend Connections with the other dev and here are some things. A huge update is coming and it’s called the ‘not done yet’ update as a reference to a certain…someone.

A variety of new load screens randomly picked that will quite literally construct themselves in-front of you. I’m thinking about adding some sound effects but I’m not entirely sure yet.
Working on a new FPS. I haven’t gotten far as I’ve been working on all the ‘background’ stuff, but I finally got to making the main menu and some of the models.

The menu has navigation with mouse, arrow keys, WASD, and a gamepad controller. I built a module for deciding which GUI to choose based on directional input a day or two before ROBLOX came out with their own. I still plan to use mine though. IT was pretty fun to make.
The models all use a custom effects system that lets me change them all at once by modifying some values in ReplicatedStorage, which is really useful since I plan to use those assets a lot and manually changing each one would be a pain.
Last of all, I’m working on making randomly generated FPS maps that take some principles of FPS design that I’ve been reading on into account. It should, hopefully, keep more variety in the game over time.
