What does this script do?

@GreekForge wants to check who are the plugin owners.

I was affected by this too.

Remove 3rd plugin

Alrighty  What do I do next?

What is that “Server Defender” plugin for? Looks kinda suspicious, might want to look at that one.

Server defender is this plugin right here:

I don’t think it is a backdoor.

Hey there,

I am sorry for the backdoor problem.
Server Defender is indeed not the backdoor.
You are able to check the source of the plugin in studio after you installed it.
I think you know how to do this?

If there are any other questions please let me know.

This looks like a suspicious plugin:

Do you absolutely need it?

What do you mean?

I’ve been using Load Character plugin for a while and never had an issue with it.

For npc’s and stuff I use it.

I have never had an issue with this before though.

@AlreadyPro

What about this plugin?

What about:

Why isn’t it uninstalled? You could still have it’s content in your studio…

And if you didn’t have the issue with Load Character before then it’s probably not that…

I can’t believe I hadn’t thought of that yet  thanks for bringing this up.

Alright, looks fine then lol. I didn’t really know what it was, thank you for clarifying.

It’s inactive, it’s not going to run. That doesn’t make sense.

Even though the plugin is inactive, the content (all the code and stuff) is most likely still installed. Now I’m not sure if that’s really the case, but keeping inactive and [content deleted] items in your plugins isn’t very clean either. The most secure option is to just remove it.

Even if the plugin is inactive, the code is still there which could still technically interact with the studio.

That’s not how plugins work. If it’s inactive, the code doesn’t run. An inactive plugin does nothing unless you have an actual virus on your computer reactivating it.

Sure that’s what a plugin is supposed to do, but viruses can sometimes run by themselves and even if it doesn’t I think its still better to remove the useless plugin anyways.

Whatever the case, apparently removing it fixed OPs problem so there has to be something there.

Has he found the fix? Or has he not?
