You can write your topic however you want, but you need to answer these questions:
What do you want to achieve? Keep it simple and clear!
So I’m gonna upload an audio onto roblox, but I want it to be loud enough for everyone to hear it, but not so loud that itll get content deleted. (without using the volume feature in studio)
What is the issue? Include enough details if possible!
I don’t really know the “max” volume for audios. And i cant find it on the forums or anywhere
What solutions have you thought of so far?
I tried uploading the original audio, but it seems that its too loud.
Instead of having it just be played from some place, have it play on everyone’s clients. This should allow you to not have to upload audio that’s “too loud”.
Provided that LUFS measured is different between platforms, Loudness Penalty only defines the compensation of the audio, not the measured loudness. Therefore, the audio in Loudness Penalty foreshadows how much of the audio will be cut back in loudness. A good tool to use if you plan to upload your sounds to somewhere without affecting the loudness.
Very possible, but I can’t tell what audio was uploaded. The -13 dB on Loudness Penalty means 13 db too loud. The -13 dB I was referring to was relative to target in full scale LUFS. On a rock stage set, it would normally go around -9 db as far as I know.
Look this up, too bad the site doesn’t provide enough information about it, so you’ll have to search for the answer in subsequent links.
Oh, did I forget that the LUFS I mentioned was LUFS integrated?
Additionally, in audio mastering, there’s some thinking about using noise, normal level and headroom:
