Out of curiosity I was wondering how other people make their grass for rendering in Blender, and what is the quickest and best looking way.
What I do is I have a file with a bunch of grass models that I add into my scene, then use particle effects to disperse them throughout my land.

Try the new grass terrain, it’s realistic, waves, and doesn’t use particles.
Update: We have disabled geometric grass over leafy grass material. We are not 100% sure if it is gonna stay this way. We are experimenting around. Using leafy grass as no-geometry grass could work for you guys as work around for painting geometry grass. On the other hand maybe you want 2 different grass colors. Please let us know what do you think.
Hello Roblox devs
You can now extend your world for realistic grass.
Thanks to all the roblox engineers who worked on it: @vrtblox , @c0de517e , @N…

This…isn’t what OP is asking about…
OP is talking about Blender not Studio. Please read the topic…
Anyways I do the same thing for my grass. It’s hair particles and then I just spread them across the land. Nice looking and very quick. I mean there are other ways but this is the easiest for me
