Which ad method to use to get on recommendation

  1. What do you want to achieve? Keep it simple and clear!

I want my game to be on Roblox recommendation feed.

  1. What is the issue? Include enough details if possible!

I did some research and 20 usd a day for 14 days is good but I don’t know if I should do with classic ad or new ad system. Also if that amount and duratiom is right.

  1. What solutions have you thought of so far?

I did a research on the internet.

I’ve heard terrible things about the new ad system, one of the main things is that it prefers people who are likely to open the game for a second and leave immediately instead of people who may actually be interested in your game, and because of that it uses all your ad credit in the first few hours with no results.

I’d personally go the classic system since I haven’t heard as many bad things about it.

The most important thing is to know that the Ad Manager alone will not bring your game to the recommendation feed, even if you spent thousands of Credits. But your game’s statistics will, so you want to populate them with the “fake players” from the Ads. As soon as Roblox gets enough data about your game, it will put it in the algorithm.

The biggest problem lies in those “fake players”. You will need to do 110% to get good statistics because the “quality” of the players will be very low (50% will leave instantly, probably none will spend robux).

To populate all the statistics and data for your game and hit the algorithm, you need between 12 and 20 days, so 14 days is a good starting point, but don’t spend your whole budget on those 14 days, because it could take a little longer.
If you are not in the algorithm after 20 days, I would just abandon the project and move on, or at least rebuild it completely.

For daily spending, I would suggest starting small and increasing a little over time, so you can check if any bugs come up without getting hundreds of dislikes instantly. But how much you spent as a daily budget really doesn’t matter because you will probably not make any money from these players anyway.
I normally start with 10 Ad Credits. When there are no new bugs and I get over 90% likes, I go to 15 and then 20 Ad Credits.

Right now, I only use the new “AI-powered” Ad Manager because it’s yielding nearly the same CPP for me, and the players I get feel a little “higher quality” than the ones coming from the old Ad Manager.
If you run into issues with the new Ad Manager spending unevenly throughout the day, schedule your campaigns for midnight UTC.

Hope this is helpful. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.
