Why are my trees' leaves so transparent?

I want my trees to look realistic or plausible, the amount of transparency they have when at max graphics settings just ruins the entire look.

Here is how I’ve textured the leaves, I have a SurfaceAppearance Property on a MeshPart object

Have you tried turning render fidelity to precise? It could be that they go on performance to reduce lag.

I think it’s something also to do with Terrain, I’ve had this issue before with no resolution.

What’s it look like from a Player’s perspective, would they even notice? I say this because I think part of the issue is looking top-down at Decals/Textures when there is Terrain underneath, so hopefully wouldn’t affect the players POV that much (unless the trunks and branches are clear as day too).

Do you have any additions to Lighting that could be affecting it in a higher graphic setting, such as Sun Rays/Blur/etc.?

Last suggestion is to check out the following game and see if the issue is similar there in a high graphic setting: Roblox - Realistic Forest Demo - Roblox

Edit: I’d test these Trees on a blank baseplate to see if the issue is replicated without Terrain

tbh they both look good to me

I’ve never worked with SurfaceAppearance before, but I know that saving an image as .png vs .jpg causes the decals to appear somewhat transparent using Future lighting. Decals appear slightly transparent when using Future Lighting
