Why do some public audios require you to have said audio in your inventory to use it while others do not?

Hi there everyone,

Recently I’ve discovered that even though when you distribute an audio onto the store you must have it in your inventory to use it which in of itself is absolutely fine, however what if you are playing a game like RetroStudio or you are using a feature like a boombox inside a game where in those situations this whole inventory thing doesn’t work out.

Furthermore even some audios uploaded after the inventory audio usage update can be used without requiring the user to have it in their inventory so how is that exactly fair? I can link to two examples of what I mean plus these audios I am linking to are uploaded by DistroKid so it makes the whole situation even more frustrating.

Edit: Also I am basing my date of release for the inventory audio usage update off the public sound effects update which I am assuming is what also brought along the said inventory update. Public Sound Effects Upload Are Now Available for Creators
