I’m a beginner to advertising and things, but my game, Two Player Obby: Remastered has dropped in playtime significantly (because no one is playing it). I figured making a two player obby would be cool because I could play it with friends or random people that join. Over last week, I’ve noticed that “two player obby” is quite a big search term as my game got over 1000 visits after that week. Two players or three players were playing it before, now 0. All the time. And I have worked out why.
What is the issue? Include screenshots / videos if possible!
When I search “two player obby”, my game doesnt come up at all. When you search “two player obby: remastered” it does thought, but people arent searching that, they are searching “two player obby”. Strangely enough, it started when I’d changed the game icon.
What solutions have you tried so far? Did you look for solutions on the Developer Hub?
I’ve tried putting tags in my description but it didn’t work. I tried changing my game logo back to the old one, that didn’t work. I’ve looked for solutions on the forum, but the only one I found is about someone getting his game first when they search it with the help of a Roblox admin.
You can try making an Advertisement for your game. You would need maybe 100-200 Robux but I think it will be worth it if your game has any game passes or something like that so u will get your Robux back fast.
This is only my opinion but it’s totally your choice.
I recommend including a single-player mode, since I know that people won’t stay in a game for too long if there isn’t enough people to play it (people hate waiting, after all). It will also get people to get the gist of how the game would be like, and also stay long enough for when (hopefully) another person joins and they can test out the two player mode (given if there is enough incentive to stay, that is).
Also, I recommend keeping an eye on this, since you could have a chance of getting enough robux to help get more players to play your game.
Getting about 300 to 500 players play your game at least once makes it popular and thus letting roblox website recognize it faster. This might help getting your game to show up.
