I’m sure it’s been asked before, but why are numbers filtered for users that are 13+ years?
They aren’t under coopa agreement, right?
As I understand the need for filtering, there are two cases:
- Information sent by the player
- Information received by the player
This case falls under the latter case - someone could tell a kid their phone number or other confidential information, which wouldn’t be OK.
Though, as filtering is done when received, it would be nice to see stupid filters like for numbers and other cases removed when communication goes from 13+ user to 13+ user.
Should this really be on feature requests?
But to answer your question, people could give their phone numbers or request that an under 13 gives them their phone number easily. This just makes it so that can’t happen.
He’s technically requesting numbers for 13+ users.
Roblox shouldn’t be called a social platform then. Can’t speak.
