Are you sure you bought everything you can get? because it won’t show you that notification if you do not have enough cash to upgrade a tool
I actually have a ton of interesting updates for the game, but for now, I will just focus on making the beginning way better. I published it in this state intentionally as I wanted to see everyone’s reaction to the game’s current state and I know what to do and what to not do now.

I think the problem is that this game is missing ambience. The lighting is kinda off, the tasks are weird and the gameplay isn’t to enjoyable. In my opinion you should add skill based mechanic, like make the villagers chop trees, build, fish, mine in order to upgrade the village.

how i would say it… Your game is just boring. I don’t even know what genre it is. i expected something more epic than touching trees, looking
at sky, touching bushes, jumping. Your game is literally called Build Your Empire! And people just clicked and then got dissapointed because of the game being boring. I just really don’t know why you don’t have idea why your game is not popular. People already said what needed to be said. Also 4 years of experience? You are kidding me? And this is most epic game you could make?

I know that this game took a lot of time with all the objectives i basically see.
But the game is just soo boring… like most objectives are just walking

This game took 2 weeks from me, with 3 hours of work daily & sometimes less (I am not flexing or anything) but I appreciate your opinion and I am already working on revamping the objectives

Based off of this, you only wanted to promote your game in a malicious way. You refuse to handle critiques with ideas that aren’t even “harsh”, but rather you heavily disapprove suggested improvements.
After all, do you really think you should post this when you know you will come after people for civilly pointing out without using disrespectful language?

I don’t really think it is necessary to quote one of the first replies I made to someone that sounded like he just wanted to insult the game because if you look further into the post, I actually agreed with the idea he was trying to send.
I intended to do this as I wanted to see the reaction of the people who are going to play it, because now let’s say I actually put in more than 2 months of work for this project, it would end up more horrible due to the fact that the beginning of the game isn’t great at all.
But, if you had proper playtesting you would realize that before launch. There really isn’t an excuse to purposely not care about the quality of the game, since you can do everything before launch.
