Wonders Ice-Cream Training Guide

- INFORMATION:

  • All training sessions MUST have a Host, Co-host, trainers and a helper for each trainee in the session. Trainers depend on however many groups there are.
  • Supervision Team+ may assist in training’s, and Head of Supervision+ may be a trainer. HR+ may host/co-host the session.
  • The Host and Co-host must decide between themselves who will be the ranker for the session; usually it would be the Co-host whilst the Host makes sure the session is running smoothly.

Please make sure to copy & paste the CORRECT dialogue that your role needs to say.

- BEGINNING THE SESSION:

The host must make sure that there are enough staff to be able to train for the session. If there are two trainees, there should be 1 main trainer and 2 individual helpers. 3 or more trainees result in 2 main trainers, and however many helpers needed.

There will be two main letter groups; A and B. The host must make sure that the trainees know what groups they’re assigned to, alongside the staff team.

If there are any spare staff, please make sure to kick them as excess. We don’t want a crowded session, so a maximum of 3 supervisors are permitted.

5 minutes before slocking the server, please announce to the trainees that ‘PTS’ is now enabled, and that no free-talking should be spread.

When the session is due to begin, please ensure that the slock command is enabled on the server. Please keep in mind that members with moderator commands can bypass this lock. The Host/Co-host must make sure any late staff members are kicked for being late (apart from SHRs.)

The host must begin using the ‘m’ command: (Host/Co-host must copy & paste this following dialogue)

HOST: Greetings, welcome to your Wonders training session! My name is [USERNAME] and I’m joined by my lovely co-host, [USERNAME]. It’s a pleasure to be here today.

Please remain silent and attentive, as my co-host states the rules; these will be crucial for your passing today!

CO-HOST: I. Always use grammar whilst in any of our games. Failure to follow this rule after III strikes will result in a demotion.

II. Do not troll in any of our games; this is unprofessional and will result in a demotion of your role.

III. If you catch anybody breaking the rules in our games, please give them I warning before contacting an MR+. Any biased warnings will result in a warning for yourself, and possibly a demotion.

IV. Always follow the staff guidelines; you can locate these in our communications server.

V. In order to pass this session with flying colors, make sure to follow any instructions that your trainer and helpers give you.

Thank you for listening carefully to the rules, I will now hand back to the Host who will explain what to do next.

HOST: Please listen to these instructions closely to prevent any crowds. STAFF, please go to your designated training areas and set up for your training session.

The trainer should be in front, and helpers should be behind.

Trainers, please make sure that you’re standing clear in front of your trainees and helpers. Be confident, you’re telling the trainees crucial information they need for their future here at Wonders!

Please make sure to copy the correct script for your role.

TRAINER: Hello, it’s lovely to be training you all today! My name is [NAME] and I’ll be guiding you through the stages and instructions of being staff here at Wonders.

Behind me are my wonderful helpers; make sure to thank them after this session, as they’ll be assisting me in helping you pass.

Before we begin this session, I will be going through some information you’ll need to know for this session. Any questions?

[ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS, IF NOT, MOVE ON.]

TRAINER: Alright, let’s begin! Firstly, you will have a total of III grammar strikes for this session.

If you surpass this limit, you will be automatically kicked, and will have to attend another session.

If you have a question while I’m explaining a topic, or when your helper is training you, please say ‘PTS’.

If you need to leave the session, or go AFK, please inform me or your helper before doing so.

Our first stage today is the greeting test. Does everybody here know what a greeting is?

[IF A TRAINEE SAYS NO, PLEASE EXPLAIN WHAT A GREETING IS: for example, ‘A greeting is a polite way of welcoming a customer into the Creamery.’]

TRAINER: Here is an example of a greeting:

Hello, welcome to Wonders Ice-Cream! My name is Amber, and how may I help you today?

We recommend copy and pasting this greeting for quick access, but typing it is perfectly acceptable too.

When I approach you, please state your greeting. Grammar mistakes are not counted in this stage, as I’m here to improve your greeting.

[TRAINERS WILL APPROACH A TRAINEE AT A TIME. IF THEY HAVE A GRAMMAR MISTAKE, PLEASE CORRECT IT FOR THEM. IF THEY’RE GREETING IS GOOD, PRAISE THEM.]

TRAINER: Wonderful work! Now, we’re going to be moving onto the topic of trollers and exploiters.

When you see somebody breaking the rules, you must give them I warning before asking an MR+ to kick the player.

Warnings could be for abusing capitals, spamming, rudeness, or simple trolling.

If you happen to witness an exploiter, please try and get proof and contact a HR+.

Is there any questions about trolling?

[ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS, IF NONE MOVE ON.]

TRAINER: Great! Now, we will be moving onto ordering items; the main part of your job!

When a guest approaches you, be sure to immediately state your greeting to welcome them to our company.

Our limit is III items, so be sure the customer orders that maximum.

If you’re struggling with a recipe, you can locate the cookbook in our communications server, or ask another member of staff to help you. Don’t be afraid to ask!

Be sure to ask the customer what size they’d like their drink (small, medium or large), or if they order ice-cream, ask if they’d like a cup or a cone.

I will now be passing onto my lovely trainers, who will now train you based on all the information I explained. Good luck!

- HELPER SCRIPT:

[TRAINER WILL MOVE AWAY, HELPERS WILL PICK A TRAINEE THAT THEY WILL ASSIST DURING THE SESSION. PLEASE MAKE SURE ALL HELPERS EACH HAVE THEIR OWN TRAINEE.]

Helper: Hiya! My name is [NAME] and I’ll be training you based on what you just learned. Any questions before we start?

Great! First, we shall move onto the Trivia Stage.

During this assessment, I shall ask you V questions that you will need to answer to your full ability.

These questions will be based around the information your trainer had told you beforehand.

To prevent cheating, I will be PMing you the questions, please make sure to answer the questions in the message I will send you.

[For this Trivia, please be sure to use the ‘pm’ command to private message your direct trainee.

You’re allowed to make up any questions of your own, but make sure they’re based around what the Trainer said.

Here are some examples you could use:

How many warnings do trollers get? A: 1 warning.

What should you do if there’s an exploiter in game? A: Screenshot proof and contact a HR+.

What is the limit of items that a customer can order? A: III.

How do you make an ice-cream in a cone? A: Cone + ice-cream.

What would you do if a customer was being disrespectful? A: Politely ask them to stop, warn them, anything along those lines would be correct.

The trainee must get 3 points minimum to pass this stage. If they fail, please tell them why and kick them from the game.]

Helper: Congratulations on passing the trivia stage! We will now be moving onto the ordering test.

I will act as a customer, and order from you. Please make sure to tell me your greeting when I approach! If you struggle with making any items I request, be sure to tell me. You must get 2 of my items correct in order to pass this session.

I will only be allowed to repeat my order once after asking it. Ready to begin?

[For this stage, please ask your trainee to make you any 3 items you like. There is no time limit, but if your trainee takes longer than 5 minutes, that’s an automatic fail.

If your trainee gets 2 or more items correctly made, they will pass this stage. If they only get one or none correct, please explain why they’ve failed and kick them.]

Helper: Well done on passing the last stage of this training session! Are you ready to hear your results?

IF PASSED: Congratulations on passing this session, it was an honor training you today! Please follow me to be ranked.

IF FAILED: Sadly, you have failed this session due to [INSERT REASON OF FAILURE]. Please try again next time!

- ENDING THE SESSION:

When all trainees are ranked, please kick them from the session. The host will then thank everybody for coming, and any announcements will be made. If there are no announcements, please shutdown the server using the ‘shutdown’ command.
