What is the WRFF?
The WRFF is known as the World Roblox Football Federation, a work-in-progress RO-Soccer organization where national teams play against each other in competitions. This includes friendlies, qualifiers, continental tournaments and a world cup.

RO-Soccer tools/playstyle
This league will use MPS tools. They are R6-based with a power-bar for kicking. The tools are compatible with both PC and Mobile (Phone/Tablet) players.
There are six tool options: Shoot, Pass, Long, Tackle, Dribble, and GK (Only available if player is on a GK team).
The Shoot tool is most effective for scoring goals. It generates power in the leg. There are skills available in the Shoot tool, such as volleying, bicycle kick, scissor kick, diving header, scorpion kick, regular header.
The Pass tool is most effective for passing the ball. It has less power than the shoot and long tool and is best used for short-distance kicking and maintaining ball possession. Skills available include short left and right side kicks, backheels, back side kick, ball stop.
The Long tool is most effective for longing the ball, as in kicking the ball from a long distance. Often used by defence, but also good at team play. Skills available include long left and right side kicks, rabona, chip, left and right ball flick.
The Tackle tool is most effective for tackling the ball to retake ball possession. It is risky but rewarding when done right. Skills include standing tackle, chest control, side tackle, slide tackle.
The Dribble tool is most effective for dribbling the ball, keeping ball possession and performing skills. Skills include rainbow flick, air dribble, fast dribble, side dribble, forward and reverse ball flick, ball stop, back side kick, fake dribble.
The GK tool is reserved only for goalkeepers. Typical for clearing and saving the ball, which include left and right dives, low and high catches, quick reflexes, ball punching.
The player chooses either the right leg or left leg. Depending on which side of the ball the player kicks on, they can make their shot straight, curve left, or curve right.
Sometimes, tools/animations may bug. Players have to type and enter “rtp” in the chat to respawn to where they were and re-select their class/tools. If a player that is near the ball experiences tool/animation bugs, the match will be temporarily paused and continued once the player is ready.
Match and Tournament Info
Matches will be divided into two 15-minute halves (with additional time if needed at the end of each half). Before every match, players will walk out of the locker rooms and onto the pitch, with their national team’s flag. After the national anthems are played, players organize themselves onto the field and the match starts. At the end of the first-half, players go back to the locker rooms and have a 5-minute break before re-entering the pitch for the second-half. After the second-half ends, the match is over, and players can leave.
There are four types of matches:
- A friendly is a match between any two national teams and is considered non-competitive (no points involved).
- A qualifier is a match that precedes a regional tournament or the world cup, and is a competitive match between two teams from the same regional organization.
- A continental/regional tournament match is a competitive match between two teams from the same regional organization. It is either a group-stage or knockout-match (extra time+penalties may apply if the score is tied after regular-time). A winner is declared at the end of the tournament/final, with a 1st-placed and 2nd-placed team.
- A world cup match is a competitive match at the highest level, between two teams that qualified to the world cup. It is either a group-stage or knockout-match (extra time+penalties apply). A winner is declared at the end of the tournament/final, with a 1st-placed and 2nd-placed team, as well as a 3rd-placed team that is decided in a 3rd-place match between the two teams that lost in the semi-finals.
Kits and Stadiums
Any active team will have a home, away, and goalkeeper kit that will identify them on the pitch. The kits can be bought with Robux in the team’s group store, but will also be available to wear in the team’s home stadium. Kits can be assigned to both teams with admin commands for matches. Coaches may ask the kitmaker for the template if they’d like to design custom kits for players that have the player name/number on their kits.
Every team will have their own stadium that comes with locker rooms and a press conference room. Every stadium has a scripted crowd that reacts to goals, close misses, as well as having unique chants that play from time to time in the server. Stadium places come with scoreboards that are to be used during matches. Stadiums have dynamic ads around the pitch.
Signing Players/Coaches
It is up to the WRFF administration to decide on coaches.
They will be able to apply to the WRFF for the position. There will be a game under the WRFF main group’s experiences where users can submit a Google form within the game and apply. If their application is accepted, they will be ranked as Head Coach in the three groups that they must be in as coach: their team’s group, their team’s regional division group (found under the team’s group affiliates), and the main WRFF group. In their team’s group they will be able to use group shouts and rank Fans into the Reserve Player or Main Player ranks. They may also hire any Assistant Coaches and rank them the Assistant Coach role in the group. Assistant coaches do not require an application process, as their main job is to help host trainings and help with their team’s lineup during a match. Assistant coaches are allowed to sign players as well. However, it is up to the head coach to finalize a team’s full squad for tournaments. Every team must have a head coach to be considered active in the WRFF, and if the head coach resigns, an assistant coach can apply for the Head Coach role.
A head coach’s job is to sign players and optionally assistant coaches. Head Coaches must remain active, and ensure their team is active, in order to keep their position. They should also create a good atmosphere within the team that motivates the players.
There will be a limit as to how many players a team can sign. The limit of main team players is 14. The limit of reserve players is 6. A Head Coach and Assistant Coach is allowed to be a player on their team, and this is often the case in RO-Soccer leagues. Whether they are a main player or reserve player, they are taking up one of the main/reserve player slots and should be aware of this when signing players. Players are not allowed to play for more than one team (and alts are prohibited), they can change their team by informing their coach and doing so only in a transfer window, they may not change teams during a tournament. During a match, the head coach/assistant coach is responsible for creating starting line-ups and substituting players. They should avoid forfeiting a match (lack of players or by choice) as this can affect their role as a head coach.
Administration and Officiating
The president and administrative board of the WRFF are in charge of running the organization. They are responsible for organizing friendlies and world tournaments, as well as managing the continental sub-organizations.
There are six sub-organizations that each represent one of the six regions in the WRFF: Africa, Asia, Europe, North America/Central America/Caribbean, Oceania, South America. Each regional organization has its own president and board that are able to organize friendlies among their members and host qualifiers and regional tournaments.
Referees/officials are in charge of managing any match between two teams. Both teams must have enough team members present for the match to begin. A match cannot begin without a referee, and a match cannot begin if both teams are not present with at least 4 players. Other than the referee, there may be officials on the sideline that call for offsides or discuss refereeing calls. The referee manages the scoreboard/timer, can hand out yellow/red cards and call fouls/free kicks/penalties/kick-offs, as well as signalling half-time or full-time with any additional time added that was a result of a delay.
In order to be a referee, there are two steps. First is the application process, done with a Google form in-game. Next is an in-person trial, where the applicant helps manage any match between two teams. The in-person trial will only be done if their Google form application is accepted, they will be asked to send a friend request to a holder account who can help organize the trial. If both parts are a success, they will be made an official WRFF referee.
Journalist/News Media
WRFF encourages RO-Soccer media to join us. The news media should have their own identity and preferably a Twitter account for sharing news, and YouTube for sharing videos. Media will be invited to team press conferences where players and coaches will answer questions at the stadium, either before or after the match.
Rulebook
The official WRFF rulebook will be available in the future.

World Ranking
Every friendly, qualifier, continental/regional tournament match, and world cup match is included in the calculation of the world ranking. The world ranking is based on the famous Elo calculation rankings that ranks national teams with Elo points. Elo Points are either gained or lost, and each team starts with 1000 points. The lowest amount of points a team can have is 0, and the highest amount is 3000. Rankings can be used to seed teams in group stage/qualifying draws. The Elo calculator takes into account the score, the Elo points difference of both teams, home/away/neutral venue, and type of match.
