Wrongly terminated, main account being wrongly punished for it and hasn't resolved in over a year

Hello,
It has taken me a bit of time to get the ability to type and post on the forum, but I have always wanted to bring this to public, especially recently.

Around 4/28/2024, my main account “Peddit” was terminated for " You created or used an account to avoid an enforcement action taken against another account". I had no idea what this could have been from as realistically the only alt account I would use that involved me playing games was 41gf, yet I don’t recall doing anything breaking the rules. At the time, I believe they only involved your account being affiliated with another via phone number, so I must have had my number attached to 41gf.

I would then go and check my alternative account, to see that “41gf” was terminated for no reasoning written onto it, as when I checked on my account, the moderator note and recent violation were both blank.

This was both very confusing and startling as there was quite literally no warning, it was just immediate “oops! your account is deleted now, you have 30 days, good luck!”.

I would then go onto emailing for both my alt account 41gf and main account Peddit to try and contact support with the evidence that I have (still completely unsure of what the heck I was banned for in the first place), also with the mindset of not really knowing that you get basically one chance at appealing with the support staff, as they seem to stop giving you answers after you appeal once per account. Asking for the reasoning of my ban on 41gf led to me figuring out that it was banned for “Child Endangerment”.

At first this was very shocking as I never committed this violation, as I barely would ever go on the account, and I could not really go off of anything as evidence to support myself of this being false since I genuinely had no idea what could have set off this ban, as all they told me here was that it was Child Endangerment, with no details or text of any incidents.

Realistically here I just felt so cornered and could not really know what to do about this false ban, and the more I would send in support appeals for the ban, the more I realized that they wouldn’t even bother elaborating on anything involving my ban, as they would constantly repeat the same emails, saying either
“We’re sorry but we’re unable to provide you with any further information or response regarding this inquiry. We encourage you to review the previous information sent to you as we have provided you with all that we can at this time. However, if you need further assistance with a different matter, please don’t hesitate to let us know.”, or
“Thank you for contacting Roblox Appeals about your moderation concern. The account “41gf” received a moderation action for violating the Roblox Community Standards. An appeal has previously been sent for this moderation action, and we concluded that the consequence would not be adjusted at that time. Please do not submit multiple appeals for the same concern.”.

Frustrated, this would turn into me getting desperate, leading to me assuming that I was hacked, and I would start to send in support tickets with any sort of luck on my side hoping they would do anything, but they would tell me that even if I was hacked, I would be fully responsible for any of the actions being done on the account. So, I was left with really no other options.

Eventually, the 30 day mark would come to its end, and I was defeated by their very unforgiving and cruel rules, not a single bit of info was squeezed out from my support emails and they just told me the same thing over and over again. I would then go on to a old alt account that didn’t have my phone number attached to just move on and play the same games and try to forget about it.

About a year later, 7/12/2025, I would log onto ROBLOX this day and open my home page to another roblox.com /not approved, on my alt account I have been using as a main account for the past year, “Deddit”. Apparently, they recently have been enforcing a new rule with the " You created or used an account to avoid an enforcement action taken against another account " via email now, which I genuinely did not know my email I was using was affiliated with the terminated account, 41gf. This truly crumbled me, having another huge loss of time, effort, and my own money down the drain again in front of me where I couldn’t do anything again about, just another “oops you are banned, good luck.”

I immediately went on to appeal for it, of course getting rejected by the appeal bots, taking a lot more time to appeal than last year, but I would then look into researching these false bans that have happened to people, and happened to come across someone’s youtube video, and a ton of forum posts on here of false terminations revolving around avoiding enforcement action, such as this one:

And from watching this video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kJxMJijN9yY&t=31s
From what happened to them, involving joining a game and forcing you to type highly punishable messages without you knowing, gave me this clue that I didn’t realize about until I watched the video and made me realize that I must have joined something like this to make my account banned, leading to my punishment. This felt like the very reasonable case as I do remember playing some very shady looking games such as what happened to RoBuilder, and this would make a lot of sense as I have the same ban reasoning as him.

I did not realize that there was so many similar stories to my ban on this website and it gave me the motivation to give it one last chance before I kind of just move on from roblox entirely, as I feel that I’ve been robbed of over a million robux worth of limiteds, thousands of hours of my life, and generally just hope for this website. I have been playing since 2012 and I have always been such a huge fan of roblox, impacting my life in many ways with good memories and friendships and I would hate to leave it on such a bad spot.
If you are a moderator reading this, please look into my account and give me a real chance, instead of the endless void that is of the roblox support appealing service.
Thank you so much for reading this,
-Peddit

It can be IP also, IIRC. That means if you were at school or a library or somewhere else using WiFi, where a person gets banned, so do you. Might also be hardware ID, so if you bought a used computer where someone got banned, you might too. Or more likely email or the phone number as you say. No real way for us forum members to say.

Yeah, very difficult to know what you got banned for if they don’t show you, but the content itself, they’ve likely scrapped or can’t show. Like if they show inappropriate content that got you banned, it’s good to know what specifically, but it’s still showing and storing that content somewhere I think.

I was going to say, appeal, but you did and that didn’t work. Any action like arbitration or disputing this with Roblox through MIDR isn’t possible cause the moderation in question is too old (section 11 of terms of service, you can dispute issues you have with Roblox). https://en.help.roblox.com/hc/en-us/articles/115004647846-Roblox-Terms-of-Use.

Whether this happened to you, or you actually uploaded inappropriate content, or what was thought to be, or whatever else is VERY hard to say for sure, given the lack of information Roblox gave and how old the moderation action is (or the connection).

Maybe a list of every game you played on your account, if stored, then checking if they were in-fact one of those crossword games, and matching that with the content that actually got the account taken down.. but again, Roblox would have to do a lot there despite this being old moderation.

Roblox staff usually don’t read through posts like these, it’s normally random developers like myself. I have empathy, but can’t confirm anything to help cause I’m not Roblox.

Did you appeal right after your account was terminated? It’s better to appeal in the first 30 days, although I think you already knew this. I think there’s no point in trying now because Roblox usually deletes all user data in 30 days, so it’s better to just start a new account.

I believe the ban was definitely from my alt account, so I don’t think it is anything involving hardware ID, really just an email and phone number thing.

I tried joining a roblox game that stores your recently played games for each account, whether or not they are banned (worked with my other banned accounts like Peddit) but unfortunately my inventory was private on 41gf so I could not check.

That is a shame. I saw on the post involving leoprad2006’s case: Wrongly banned - creating or using an account to avoid an enforcement action taken against another account
where a moderator, inevitable_kazumi read the forum post and was able to revoke the termination. I’m not sure if this happened because of the popularity the forum post got.

Yeah I did appeal right after, I’m not sure if they actually delete all user data because I am able to still see some remnants of my main account (VIP servers, messages, played games data), might just be talking about their appealing time limit.

Uh I guess @inevitable_kazumi could you look into this thread?

They don’t delete user data
I made a python script to see the account info of “josh is cool” and there was still all the infos on it even tho it got banned like a decade ago

ive seen a lot of people get unbanned after 30 days, i think they only delete the data if you request it to be deleted

Hi there.

The reason the moderator saw my post was because I flagged my DevForum post for review, where a moderator sent out a bot message at first. Later, they would actually respond to me saying they cannot help with my matter because they were a DevForum Moderator and not a “Platform Moderator” (like bro knew even after having different types of moderators for Roblox, they still failed at doing one job they had).

Anyways, I did not give up and repeatedly question their moderation system and told them how unfair it was for a player to be banned without any warnings and notices. My 30-day deadline was coming in 4 days so I mentioned that too.

After a day or two of no reply, I woke up to receive a new message from the @inevitable_kazumi, mentioning that my account was restored and that it was a mistake on the Moderator Bot, who wrongfully marked my account as suspicious.

Like you, I sent in endless amounts of support tickets. They were all bots and none of them were real. At least in your case, you had a real human provide a response. I had also made a X (Twitter) post and luckily, @KreekCraft made a video on the outrageous amount account terminations that were going on during that time, in which, he showcased my DevForum post as well as my X post.

Funny enough, after a month or so, a moderator replied to my old tickets, which I sent out regarding my account termination back then, saying something like “Well there does not seem to be any kind of ban on your account. Good luck!”.

:joy: The current state of Roblox is an absolute joke.

Welp, I hope to be blessed by being noticed by a youtuber lol

the audacity for them to reply after you were unbanned is crazy haha, I’m not sure if I should just keep sending in appeals still if that’ll make them reply as well.
Roblox has truly fallen

Being noticed by a YouTuber is not the point here. Try marking your DevForum for review and ask the moderators there.

100%. They are just greedy for the money. Listening to the investors rather than the community. They have lost touch with their community.

Alright, I just sent in a flag for review. Thanks for the help

Definitely yeah, it used to be so much more of a forgiving, simpler place and has now been filled with greed and corruption, especially when it comes to these false bans, and not even banning those who deserve it most.
