Wrongly banned - creating or using an account to avoid an enforcement action taken against another account

Issue:

Username: leoprad2006 I was banned with the reason stating that I created or used an account to avoid an enforcement action. I believe this is a misunderstanding, and I would like to appeal the termination. I was previously never banned or suspended.

I downloaded a coral asset from https://poly.pizza/search/coral and attempted to upload it into Roblox Studio for use in my underwater game. When I uploaded the asset, I received the following error: “PublishService AssetUpload failed. Info: single part asset create call failed HTTP StatusCode: 403, Message: User is Banned.”

I do not understand why my account was permanently banned for this, as the asset was a simple coral model and did not violate any community standards to my knowledge. I was not trying to bypass a previous ban, nor have I created any alternate accounts for that purpose. I am also not aware of other people banned using this asset and I was using this asset purely on my own.

Let me be detailed here.

  1. Ban happened March 19th. I appealed immediately. My appeal was rejected the same day by the bot.

  2. I appealed yet again to the Moderation team. This time, I picked another sub-category, something like: “Wrongly moderated for an asset that I published”. So, the ticket went to an actual human. Bot responded to me within the same day but I still have not received any follow-up email yet.

  3. I just now noticed that my original ticket to the first bot was also reviewed by another bot and the image just above is sent by a different bot regarding my original appeal that was rejected. Attached the Ticket # in the image caption to help you guys keep track.

  4. The second ticket that I sent under a different sub-category was reviewed immediately by a human and received a message from a Support member.

  5. After no response for a day, I sent a follow-up email to them instead. Of course, no reply there.

  6. After two full days of no response from the Roblox Team even when they had the whole week to do it, I had to send another follow-up, clarifying my issue again.

  7. Of course, today being Sunday, I don’t expect to receive an email today. However, I do expect a reply tomorrow or on Tuesday (3/25).

Hi guys. This is probably the last update y’all will hear from me. Roblox has provided me with absolutely zero response so far. My case is getting fully ignored. I saw this coming but it is what it is. Roblox should be ashamed of its moderation system. Roblox is committing literal fraud and scam by banning users who have spent hundreds and hundreds of real money on this “game”.

This ban usually means that someone on the internet you were using at the time got banned, of which roblox banned your account in the case it was a possible alt account.

So is there anyone else using the wifi? Are you using a public wifi?

Any more and all details would help!

Nope. I was inside my house making my game in Roblox Studio. Nobody in my house was using Roblox or got banned. I imported an asset called “Coral” from the given link and automatically I got that error and was banned.

I contacted and the bot rejected it. I have now contacted Roblox again with another request. Waiting on their response now.

Unless robloxs moderation stopped working, which with these bans usually isnt the case, Id ask around, if someone has been banned on your internet at all that is probably why.

Because there is absolutely no way you got banned for the coral model, and as the ban title says, its an enforcement ban.
So yeah, ask around your house or smth cause this is def not related to you uploading the coral model.

My house only has my family, 4 people. Of course, my parents don’t play Roblox and its only my brother who plays Roblox. His account was working perfectly. He was even playing for 2 hours recently.
So yes, there is a way that they wrongly moderated my account because everytime I uploaded that model, I got that error.

the thing about the error you are getting shows that you were already banned, so it isnt related to the model itself.

Just for the sake of doing it to be absolutely sure, go look and see if your brother is banned.
Which from the sound of it they arent, in that case, and I assume you havent played roblox anywhere else other than your home, and no one has come to your home and played roblox,

In that case, since you tried contacting moderation and that failed, I’d just wait it out, chances are if it was a bug, then someone else has had this happen to them and it’ll probably get covered by some big youtuber or something.

But yes, make sure, and actually go and see, dont just ask, look and see if you’re brother is banned.

Of course, I checked his account the first thing. And like I mentioned before, he was recently playing Roblox.

The only reason I see is that someone could’ve got unauthorized access to your WI-FI and did stuff on it.
Did you see the reason you got banned? (Excluding the reason that said you bypassed a ban which you didn’t if your words are true.)

Someone could’ve hacked my WiFi or something. They also did not provide a reason why I was banned. For other people, 99% of the times their decision was “Automation was used”. For me, no decision was given. Just banned.

I got banned today for an entire day.

It seems like the WiFi ban isn’t enforced anymore, given that my sister hasn’t been terminated despite being on the same WiFi during the period I got banned.

I think my ban was justified, although I’ve seen my friend and many others say this without facing a ban.

My account deletion came out of the blue. Literally out of the blue. No warning, no nothing. Just me developing my game, and the next moment “Oopsy daisy you are banned, have fun”
