Yeah it sounds like a horror game to me. The best inspirations you could take from this is Coraline & little nightmares. I don’t know why little nightmares came to mind but a game with that style would fit pretty nicely and coraline… you know if you watched it.

this sounds like a really fun concept. Maybe a game like piggy or something where you could use like a sewing needle for a sword and you were a yarn ball with a yarn body?

Everyone says horror, but take a look at Little Big Planet or Yoshi’s Woolly World. Those games are based on the idea of yarn characters and they’re super cute / casual.
Ofc Roblox doesn’t have mesh deformation so you may not be able to achieve that cute squishiness those games have easily – probably it would require a lot of animation.

I agree- that is why I am still taking ideas. The animation part would be something for me to work on, but I am hoping it to achieve something like that or completely new. Thank you for the suggestion!
I think this is a unique and great idea. I’m getting the Nintendo vibes and Yoshi’s Wooly World vibes. I think this will attract lots of different age groups and audiences. What platform is your game geared towards and what platform are you prioritizing? Anyways, I think this looks great:slightly_smiling_face: I can’t wait to see the finalized product that you create out of this unique idea. You helped a lot!! I am trying to attract most audiences, so it’s a fun game for everyone. Kids might be more appealed to the “cartoon” and funny non-living characters like the yarn ball with button eyes 
then something fun and interesting for older players.

i had a cool idea. you could make an adventure game where your a yarn humanoid-like thing and you could use your string to grapple up to higher locations.

Disclaimer: I had a field day with this idea so sorry in advance.
How about… a platformer!
You have to work in teams to sew and stitch the map to make it to the other side and you have to use your needle to attack and defeat enemies.
You could also use yarn to grab on to high places in the map like a grappling hook if you will.
You can add stickers and fun little graffiti to your map and unlock these as you play (think Little Big Planet)
If you really want to go the full 8 yarns (laughed at myself for a good 2 minutes with that one) you could add a map maker where people can share their custom creations.
This could be used by having players in groups of 4 and be teleported to a level of their choice in the lobby.
For monetisation, you could have an in game shop where you purchase sewing themed weapons, character skins and yarn colours.
Your pets could follow you around and if not enough players are about, help you sew the parts of the map back together or give powerups like extra speed or an extra life.
I’m not sure if it would work with Roblox but would be a pretty cool idea (:

UPDATE
I think after a lot of thinking, suggestions and over all testing- I have the “basics” of the game I want.
So- first, you can choose to be a toy doll or a voodoo doll- both have a backstory against each other and live on opposite sides of the “land I haven’t called yet” 
Then- you have to go on quests, to get materials such a string, yarn, buttons, needles, etc.
You will also be granted a yarn ball pet (in the tutorial)
Right now details are still being added and removed- I want to incorporate as many things as I can, I hope to add mini-games, new quests and some fun things for everyone to enjoy! I will do a HUGE update on the progress in the future.
