Ads Manager Charges 2x Daily Budget for 24 hours campaign

Same issue here that was marked as fixed

When I run an ad campaign with a daily budget of 10 credits, I’m being charged 20 credits.

Expected behavior

I expect a daily budget of 10 credits means 24 hours even if it’s on 2 separate calendar dates.

Edit: I can see now that there’s a notification in the ad manager “Budget applies to calendar dates, not a 24-hour day. All campaigns run a minimum of 2 calendar days.”
If the current behaviour is by design, I don’t understand the “fixed” status in the previous post.

Whenever I first saw the reply, I blindly trusted it and marked it as the solution (saw the disclaimers on the ads page months later after I’d already forgotten about my thread lol).

I just made an edit to the thread stating that it’s now “intended behavior”.

But I totally agree that it does feel weird/arbitrary to force 2-day minimums.
