This is a really great update! However, I made a super crazy solution to the other side of this update. There are people mad at all the robux they have spent have now been gone the drain. ESPECIALLY badge hunt games. These badge hunt games may have made a poor financial decision, but refunding badge purchases before this update may be a good way to resolve their issues.
This does remind me of the tix system! Every 24 hour log-in you get 5 free badges!

I agree. Free users can now have more freedom making games. If they donāt have R$ for the 6th badge, the cool thing is they can wait the next day! I think that is a really smart move and broadens a whole new world of Roblox developers utilizing badges in some way.

This is one of the best changes. I feel like badges make the players more excited to play the game + have something to unlock. Making it free just enables developers to save a few pennies.

I would Love to Thank the Roblox Staff Team for this update, To be honest I donāt know why the 100 Robux fee was there at the first place. I would like to inform the staff team that they helped a lot of small Devs.
I will make a āSimpleā explanation, so if you make more than 5 badges it will return to its original price (100 robux) within in 24 hours.

It is definitely big news to hear about the release of badges becoming free, having the ability to upload 5 badges per day is fantastic idea.
I believe the change will help out a lot of creators on Roblox. Iām very sure, many creators did not enjoy spending hundreds of Robux on just badges as it could of been invested in to something much better. So, now with the ability to create 5 badges per day, definitely save the developers a bit of money.
I donāt think any refunds are given as the R$100 fee for creating is still left, except it is only there if the person needs to upload more than 5 badges in a single day. Therefore, refunding wouldnāt be something they plan to do since the feature is still in place and has not been removed.

This is a really good update in my opinion, and developers across Roblox will have even more capabilities now at (what will hopefully be) metaverse scale
This is just downright awesome! This should really help out small game developer as they can now put more robux towards adds and sponsors.
Only downside I see to this is players creating tons of free badges and possibly ruining the system.
