I agree that badges were a bit overpriced at 100rbx, however it shouldnât have been made free. 10rbx per badge would have been fine. Now theyâre going to get spammed in every game⌠oh well - wonât be as fun to collect them now.

Thank you, Roblox! This is a very interesting feature, with the 24 hour condition. Does this mean that if we create 5 badges for free in one day, we can do it again the next day at the same time?
Why? Changing the price doesnât shouldnât a personâs enthusiasm. Badge collectors wonât even mind about this change. The free price given by Roblox is reasonable (and very generous) as starter groups will need a few thousand Robux to pay hired staff, then theyâll need to scramble around to get 500 Robux for 5 badges, if this change wasnât added.

This is actually very helpful for me because I am an unknown developer who barely makes more than 300 robux per month and when the badge costed 100 robux it was a pain because my players couldnât enjoy it as much.
did you even know that buying to make a BADGE is ridiculous? It ls a good badge bro

Such a big welcomed change! This is exciting, I wanted to do something in my âfutureâ game idea that gave players something to work towards besides the game itself and badges was something I thought of but then it being 100R for each one it made me scrap the idea.
Awesome! Itâs nice to see Roblox removes paywalls which can help smaller developers. But I think, better change could be removing price for adding sounds to own games

Im very happy that Roblox announced free badge creations! Iâve been trying to force myself to buy badges but, they seem too expensive at 100 Robux each.

The Roblox Creator Service Team has made so much improvements on Roblox. They have also improved the Roblox Development Experience throughout the years ive been developing on Roblox!
Honestly, I prefer the price being at 100, and if anything I feel that the price should actually have been increased. Badges will simply be too common now, which kind of defeats the whole point of a âbadgeâ.

Yes. After 5 badges, you need to pay robux or wait 24 hrs to get 5 more free badges.

This is great, without needing to spend 1000 robux to make 10 levels in a game!
Hopefully, it wonât be abused by games where you join and get a hundreds badges instantly, spamming your profile.
All thatâs needed, next, is free(r) sounds. If that also aligns with Robloxâs long-term vision?
