, I was so worrry that I had to spend 1000 dollars in badges for my game but now you have changed everything!! But itās possible for does whonmade badges with robux to get there money back? So itās fair because you know every badged was 100 robux, and some people did 100 badges thatās like 100 dollars 10,000 robuxs.

This is incredible, always wanted to add badges but could never be able to because of the cost, so glad this was added!

A welcomed change, although I canāt say Iām 100% happy about it since it shouldāve happened years ago. I thought 100 ROBUX for uploading badges at all was pretty annoying and Iām sure it probably hurt a lot of small developers in some way, although I understand that it was probably to prevent people from making badges repeatedly.
Despite this though, itās great to know that itās possible to upload badges for free now, even if itās only 5 per day. This will help a lot of people and I hope to see improvements like these made to the site more often!

Great update but, Iām a badge collector and this has really changed how badge collecting works. I do think that the price shouldāve just been lowered to 25 or 50 robux because 100 was really too much.
This is incorrect, if you make an experience, you can create 5 free badges everyday.
You can only make 5 badges a day for free, so it would take about 100 days to make 500 badges. I doubt there are that many people who have the patience to wait that long to make a badge collecting game, so this change probably doesnāt affect much.

Actually, my friend, a badge collector, already made 50+ games with 15 badges because badges have been free for 3 days so far. So Iāve gotten 3k+ free badges, lol. Iāve already made 120 badge too already. Badge collectors will do anything for badges so we do have the patience.
ā¦I wasnāt implying that you donāt have the patience, I was just saying that I didnāt think that many people would have the patience to do that sort of thing. I thought this update just came out yesterday since thatās when this thread was made, so I wasnāt aware that it had been 3 days already.
I donāt play badge collecting game often since I find it better to collect badges from games that require more effort, but from what you said I can see the impact that this update has made. Itās not that big of a deal though, Iām just glad this update came out now rather than later.
Unlikely. If you spent ROBUX on badges before the update came out itās likely that you wonāt get it back, since you didnāt make them for free.

Yeah, I do agree. Although over 70 people have made over 50 games each with 15 badges, lol. Also the games arenāt only badge walks, we make them fly glitch games, badge hunt games, obby games, etc because not all of us just want a simple badge walk although I like making badge walks more.
But yeah, it has really harmed the community. Badge ranks will now be changed from 100k badges to 125k or 150k. We havenāt decided yet.

I donāt think badges will be refunded. It would be way too hard to refund so many people for badges.

This will allow us to create badges without using any of our hard working robux! They even bought of a safe way to prevent spam!

I hope this will be applied to sounds as well, maybe short sounds could be free to uploadā¦

this is an amazing change and will bring back the joy of badge collecting- if more changes to make development of games on roblox accessible to everyone are made maybe all the corporate changes arenāt so bad after all
