Assembly Position, Animations, & Constraint/Joint Offsets Incorrectly Reported

Within the last hour, many of our users began reporting issues with their Characters’ positions in the world, as well as certain parts of their characters not being correctly jointed as they once were. It also appears that animations have stopped playing on the client entirely.

We have not updated or changed our practices. We have no means of diagnosing or fixing the issues presented in our experience (because the behavior is rather bizarre).

Hi! This was caused by a change in how animated assemblies are updated. Thankfully, this change was behind a flag which we’ve reverted, so this issue should no longer be occurring. Please let us know if this has been resolved!

Thanks

Hi,

At this point, no more reports of bugs like these have come in. I’ll mark this as solved. Thanks for the help!

Unsure if this is related but I am having similar animation issues in studio with assemblies (Characters specifically): Rotating Character Waist Motor6D C0/C1 causes unnatural twisting and positioning of arms.

I just saw this report and tested in studio to still confirm that this behaviour is still happening to me.
