Blender rig exporter/animation importer

BlenderError
Hi,

I am trying to follow but when I import into Blender 2.79 I get the model in mid-air with blue lines?

I have tried with RootPart changed and also not changed and not certain what is going wrong.

Thanks

the rig should be at 0,ypos,0, both in studio and blender

Anyone can help? When i try to import a animation this happens…

Doesn’t work for 3.0.1? I just try it and it doesn’t…

Here is an example of what do I wanna mean, it moves the bones but not the model.

:thought_balloon: Introduction

Hey, I have also encountered this issue before back when I was using this plugin. Luckily, I found a solution. To fix this, you need to parent the model to the corresponding bone.
How do you parent it? Well, it’s actually pretty simple! Follow these simple steps.

:bulb: Tutorial / Fix

1. Have the rig ready, it should look like this. It has bones and all that good stuff.

2. Select the model or object you want to move with the specific bone. (For example, here, I want the horns to parent with the head bone, so I select both!)

3. Select the entire rig or the bones you want to parent the model with. (For me, it was the bone named “Head”!)

4. Go into ‘Pose Mode’, and once again, click the bone you want to parent with the model. It should be blue when you are selecting the proper bone.

5. Set parent to ‘Bone’ by pressing CTRL + P on your keyboard. Something should pop up like this. Then, you would want to click ‘Bone’ that way it will parent with the bone (I think?)

6. Voila! Enjoy and cheers mate.

Thanks !
I think the devs of this plugin must fix that bug or something…

The plugin is broken or something because nothing is being named properly, no decals and no errors.

Hello I Have An Issue Where When I Export Nothing Works Properly

I have tried many different rigs and the issue persists can anyone please help.

Video On Blender Plugin Issue

The things I have tried are re-installing the plugin and using a whole other PC but nothing seems to work. Just for more information even when the part is can collide disabled It still has this issue.

Ive found a work around to get r6 working inside blender i just wiped the motor6ds that roblox provides and replaced them with new motor6ds

But to make it easier for others here is the fixed r6 dummy everyone is looking for
Note it does not have the round head it has the blocky head

WorkingR6.rbxm (5.6 KB)

Anyways eeee

Thank you so much man it means a lot.
because I am teaching one of my friends how to animate and I encountered that issue.

The bad news is that it is not appearing to work

Could this be an issue with the plugin itself due to an update?

It could be roblox did one magic trick and broke something in the process

or it could be you are using one weird blender version

It is mostly likely with Roblox because many people are having issues with the plugin :frowning:

Will there be an updated version for Blender 3.0+?

I was having some issues with the plugin, I was told it was a bug that’s going around now. I explained what’s happening on my forum post that I’ve linked.

I hope this helps!

A fix has been released to work around some Roblox changes that causes rig exporting to misbehave.

This changes both the plugin and the addon, so make sure to update both.

Thank you so much this Roblox update has been effecting my ability to create a gun system for so long.

All works great Thanks for fixing this!

The exporter now dosent work, it creates only the rigmeta but with nothing
I did update the plugin and the addon, and it still dosent work
No errors in the console and I’m on blender 3.0, could that be the issue?

There’s also this normal map that gets generated

pls help
