I have been using this recently and it has been great it boosts my performance by alot, it acts like RCO, and most importantly I can customize it way more than RCO.
Keep up the great work.

guys this resource sucks my roblox keeps crashing now
You can’t just say Bloxstrap crashes your Roblox without any evidence.
I find this a large claim as from my experience Bloxstrap does not crash Roblox.
Maybe you have enabled some sort of setting that may not work on your system, I would suggest resetting your Bloxstrap settings.
If that doesn’t work then try un-installing Bloxstrap to see if it is a Roblox issue, if it is a Roblox issue this post might help.
If I use bloxstrap to launch Roblox, it crashes within 30 secinds, at least on the settings I use. Using the normal launcher doesn’t crash it. Also, all I really did was enable oof, set fps cap to 9999, get old mouse, and v2 menu.
Edit: i can maybe try resetting settings, see if it helps
set fps cap to 0
that should fix it.
Make sure you’re not using Vulkan, and try and force a reinstallation through the Behaviour tab.
I for some reason procrastinated but it was probably because of Vulkan. Oops!
Why is Vulkan brokwn though?
Why wouldn’t it be? Microsoft doesn’t like anything but DirectX stuff.
For the RPC, The SDK prints commands to the log. How does this get read by Bloxstrap without causing Byfron issues?
Also how does the SDK know if it is being run from Bloxstrap, or does it just log for all users?
Log files I guess. Thats like the only way to get logs from a third party
No wonder print
slows down Roblox, it gets emitted to a file. I thought Bloxstrap would inject code and use LogService
to fetch output.
But still, how does the SDK know if it is launched from Bloxstrap?
It doesn’t. It just fires and forgets. Bloxstrap (or another BloxstrapRPC-compatible server) just tails the log file and picks up on those print entries. You can read more about it here.
Update Still not 100% what causes this but it appears to me that everytime Bloxstrap updates it creates this registry key in the Temp folder inside the AppData folder with the value of the newer version of bloxstrap.
Oh, it’s creating a new entry for every update that gets released as they get launched from %temp%. My planned overhaul for v2.6.0 should fix this.
Will it be compatible with macOS in the future? Because It won’t let me open it, saying it only works on Windows.
The GitHub page explicitly states this only works on Windows, and the only download provided is an .exe file. We hope to add MacOS support some time in the future, but it won’t be any time soon.
Ah, thanks for the follow up. I’ll be waiting for the day it comes out!
