Bug Report Wizard directs users to find instructions at a non-existent/incorrect post when reporting a Creator Hub website bug

Description

When making a report of a #bug-reports:creator-hub-bugs via the “Creator Hub” option, it became apparent to me that the Bug Report Wizard directs the user to provide their browser information by using the method it states is described at this link. However, as is relatively clear, no such instructions are currently provided for this step - not only in the linked message, but in the entire thread of bug reporting instructions as well.

When it started happening;

Honestly? I’m not certain - but it likely dates back to whenever the category for the Bug Wizard was added/released for use.

Screenshots and videos of the bug;

Also not particularly relevant here, as it is an issue of a prewritten field on the Bug Reporting Wizard not linking to the correct information. I can however add screenshots if desired.

Steps to reproduce the issue

  1. Log into devforum.roblox.com on an account with permissions to post bug reports.
  2. Navigate to and press the “Report Bug” button to open the Bug Reporting Wizard.
  3. Select the bug category as “Creator Hub”.
  4. In the “Browser Information” bullet point above the text box for the “Describe the Issue” field, click on the “browser information” hyperlink.
  5. See incorrect message for lack of instruction regarding the specified step.

IIRC (If I remember correctly), a while back, there was a post about how to retrieve your browser information… It was a simple URL link that would display the information on the screen.

As a workaround, you can use sites that are responsible for providing you, check this one out:

We’ll look into fixing the text and/or link in the wizard and instructions, thanks.

Not sure I understand - when I click that ‘browser information’ link, I’m sent here, which gives instructions about collecting system info. Do you mean there’s no explicit box in the wizard for pasting browser info?

That is also the case - however, I was referring to this hyperlink that appears in #ember873 > div.field-description > ul > li:nth-child(2) > p > a on Developer Forum | Roblox with the Creator Hub option selected.

Added a link where people can see browser info, that should help.
