Character occasionally has extremely high jump

I just experienced this again in the latest version of Studio as of 5:00 PM UTC+8

I’m so confused because I randomly noticed this started happening very frequently in my game. Was the engine updated recent ly?

Has the default timestepping value been reverted or has a fix been pushed out for the adaptive default?

This issue is back as of today, at least. I’ve elected to just put my game’s timestep setting back on fixed, as I’m assuming that is the root of the issue. I’d appreciate it if Roblox would let us know when the adaptive setting is ready to be used in live games.
