About me :
Hey! I am Evan a.k.a. BostonWhaIer. I’ve been playing roblox on and off since the beginning of 2009. Throughout my time on roblox I have always seen other epic things people have made on this platform and decided to give it a shot, hence I started scripting since it was a way to make the things that I created come to life. Generally I like to program things that replicate real world technologies and I also tackle alot of hybrid projects which require A mix of scripting / modeling. I also offer my services as A commission based scripter if you want new scripts written, but if needed I will also help you re-write scripts in your game that need to be optimized or re-worked.

- I was commissioned by LeMonde to create A nice model of a luggage loader that allowed you to raise and lower the loader belt, (Don’t mind the gui it’s not really my forte

Here is part of the asset (equip / remove system) i made for A salon game using object oriented programming to handle the interactions.
This piece of code is from my encoder system that uses the mouse wheel to increment values based on certain settings that I wrote for the lighting console I was writing over the summer which is featured in my 2D View Configuration System.

Current : Backstretch Battles Remastered (Lead Scripter) - Currently rewriting many of the game mechanics and making the game much cleaner over all.

Background / Skills :
I started off my roblox development career primarily as a builder as I felt it was the easiest to learn quickly and stuck with that until about late 2017 when I started picking up some scripting. I really began to actually grasp the nuances of scripting in the summer of 2018. At this point I have been scripting for almost 2 years and am working for games that have about 100+ concurrent players on a given day. I have taken and/or currently taken 2 computer science classes in my high school (Intro to computer science and AP Computer science) in both classes I have held a 89+ average thanks to learning scripting. I know 3 languages quite well at the moment including Lua, Visual Basic, and Java, and I also know some javascript for web implementation.
I also am certified in Hidden Developers as A Lua Programmer
Availability :
Typical I am usually up for anything, however if my status on this page is not Open than I am not currently accepting commissions as I may be busy with current projects / school work typically my availability opens up around the holidays / summer.
Payment :
I exclusively accept robux as it’s probably the easiest transaction on the roblox platform, and there isn’t too much complication with that.
