CoreGui fails to load when solo testing

Most of the time, even on an empty place, Roblox’s core gui fails to load (and also spams the output with CorePackages errors).

[image] What is this bug? How do I avoid it? After it occurs a lot of other stuff in my game fails to load for the client so players have to rejoin. It is affecting a good handful of people who play my game. It occurs randomly whenever someone joins any of the servers (sometimes it stops for them). Those servers are already running instances with sometimes 100 other players in them. Is it due to poor connection between client and server? The game in question.

Local test causes multiple CoreGui errors

Testing local clients is broken! Let me show you how

So I need to play test my game on 2 local players to see how it works and looks. I started a test and waited until my clients had loaded. This is when my problems started arising. I noticed error logs coming from roblox’s CoreGui which was out of the blue. All I did to make this happen was start a local play test on 2 clients. Expected behavior

The core gui (such as the Roblox menu) should load normally, without spamming console errors either.

Hello! Any updates? I have a bandaid fix I’d like to share. You can bandaid this issue by changing your Script Timeout Length to around 30 seconds.

I know I’m not the one who made this thread but I am getting a similar issue where the core gui sometimes never loads, even if it does load it takes about a minute straight before it does, it makes working in studio really challenging. Unlike the issue stated in this post no errors appear in the log besides my custom chat front end not being able to check ChatActive

Studio also lags heavily every time a play test is started, the lag is so bad it makes my entire pc unresponsive! The lag is usually when studio finally loads the core gui. It could also be that for some reason it has started unloading everything (even things like fonts) every time a play test is started. This causes massive CPU, Ram, and even Disk usage every time I test and makes it quite hard to work.

Actually scratch that, I am getting this error now, hope this is helpful

EDIT: wanna add this too, seems to be one of the causes for the lag spike?
