Some nice QoL would be if
was a hyperlink so I do not have to manually go to my inventory
Edit: Oh and Videos do not seem to work at all, it just shows a thumbnail (with the wrong aspect ratio) and doesn’t let you play/preview them.

Will we be able to see how many sales/downloads plugins have recieved all time and within the last 7 days? I know its not super important but it does signal to me how important it is to update plugins if I know they’re used by a lot of people vs little people.
My main concern I suppose is being able to do everything we used to be able to do on the old page, on the new page.
Why is roblox so insistent on having the monochrome color scheme?
Like why is the whole website black, gray, or white? I like the current develop page more in terms of design simply because it feels like it has more color (or at least doesn’t feel like permanent dark mode)
The roblox website from like 8 years ago use to have blue and red and that looked alot nicer and friendly.
Good. I’m glad Roblox is getting better.
This will make it easier for developers to access everything on one website. But please make it easy to traverse through.
Yeah I agree. The new dev page is whatever the opposite of staring into the sun is, probably a black hole. I bet that when it’s viewed on an OLED display, it’s indistinguishable from just closing your eyes.
I beg for the love of god allow for .rbxm downloads here, mainly on models at least, everything that is free or owned at best, also allowing to download the .rbxl of old place versions, BTRoblox has done this, and really helps if we need to go back and quickly grab something,
Without having to
Download a copy of the current studio instance
Close Roblox
Revert to an old version
Open it
Grab whatever and save it as an .rbxm
Go back and upload the backup file and then finally copy in whatever it is we needed.
Compare that to
Go to game page
Download place version needed
Open the download as a local file
Copy and paste in main studio instance
Close the local file
I’m fairly excited for the full transition to the Creator Dashboard, I like the new documentation pages so I’m sure I’ll be happy about the new workflow design. I do agree with those above me in that if this lacks any vital functionality by the time you ‘sunset’ the release, you might as well push it back.
There is no reason to throw a wrench in our workflow like what happened with the animation system update, please be considerate of whether ACTUAL DEVELOPERS that use your platform on a daily basis would be okay using it in the state you guys choose to push it out in
Hey all,
Thanks for the comments so far! The team reads every one of them, so this is always super helpful. I see some concerns around migrating final features before the sunset, which is reasonable - there is a reason we’re not sunsetting the old Develop pages already! Outstanding on our plate is:
Asset upload (which is just about to be rolled out)
Navigation links to Sponsored Ads and Advertisements (this will continue to be in the old place until we find a new home for it, but it will be accessible from Creator Dashboard in the meantime)
Game Passes showing more sales data (which is also just about to be rolled out)
Then as a final comment - we’re looking into light mode as a priority, but we’re not viewing this as a blocker to sunset the old Develop Pages, as the earlier we get everyone on Creator Dashboard, the earlier we can invest in one platform, and move much faster on it. Consider this a high priority follow up on our todo list.
We’re continuing to write all the other feature requests and QOL improvements down to discuss, so feel free to keep them coming!
Thanks!
Are there any plans next year to address the lack of filtering and searching through assets, items, and experiences in the creator dashboard? For example, it takes longer to go through a a 100 images looking for the one named “Clock” just to get its id because there is no ability to search. More filtering could also be a powerful tool if you want to do something such as just looking at which items you have publicly on sale.
I know the post is right above this, but can this please come
Actually, it is somewhat possible. I’ve done it before
A search bar for places (and assets in general) would make all our lives significantly easier. If anything, a search bar that skips filtering (as you’re only searching your own assets) would be even better as my username tends to randomly decide to filter depending on the day of the week.
Even if it says “Displaying results for #####”, so long as it still displays the results this would be very useful.
But if not just a search bar!!!
Adding on to this, I honestly find it a bit inconvenient having to click the back button or open a new tab (or search Roblox again) when I try to return to Roblox after browsing the marketplace and dashboard.
Aw man I wanna keep the old one
I despise the creator dashboard, please allow us to opt-out of it and continue to use the develop pages.
This should copy the Product ID rather than Asset ID to the clipboard. If you try paste this ID into MerkatplaceService:PromptProductPurchase()
it will fail.
The list of developer products also constantly refreshes, when switching tabs or focusing a different window. Occasionally the products will fail to load and require a full refresh of the page. Dont hide the already loaded products when refreshing, it makes it feel clunkier
Please may I highlight this bug as a matter of urgency. www should not go offline until this is fixed.
Also I really feel like we need a mass decal upload feature. Although the usage of the words “Max number of files” seems promising
This change is fine. All I want is that users are able to give feedback on assets that everyone can use and you can view the comments on the assets in the Creator Marketplace. I also love the modern look to the website!
