Creator Icon in PlayerList

[quote] I wouldn’t mind three “classes” of players in game. AT LEAST for Private Servers.

I once had the idea of making every place be a group in a way, where all players are in some rank by default, the owner being top rank, and then the owner can create mod/admin/VIP ranks. Those could each have their own icon, and each could be given some rights and lefts.

I could imagine some form of system like the Developer Products tab where you can insert the id of a use and upload the image per universe. :swag:

Yeah, it’d be nice if there was more encouragement to work together (i.e. “I helped build this place icon”, shared income, etc).

I think i share the suggestion about letting the user choose their own icon in game, but it should cost to change it.

I like the hammer icon idea.

Highlighting the username instead of having an icon could work too. An icon is probably more self explanatory though.

Why not something like

? It’s an icon we already associate with ownership.

That’s just the 9x9 icon straight from the website so it’s a little blurry but you get the idea. Something like that.

am I the only one who doesn’t like being spammed with ‘omg creator omg omg’ when I’m trying to test my games?

clarifying: I don’t like being somehow portrayed as better when I’m playing my own game. When I’m playing my game, I’m playing it like anyone else. When I’m working on it, I’m just the guy who made the game for people to enjoy.

It’s really weird to explain but I find it more fun when I can play my game with other players on a more personal level. If they figure out I’m the dude who made the game then they might have a laugh or two, or they’ll feel humbled and act really awkward around me.

That’s just my take on it, IDK. I just dislike having extra attention drawn to me. It’s also just one of those features that I’d add in myself if I wanted to.

It’s pretty much going to happen either way, so if you’re annoyed by that now, you might want to test your games on an alt.

I’m the type of guy who doesn’t even like publishing Roblox games under my own personal profile, but that’s something that probably won’t change any time soon.

I was going to complain about that problem but then I thought that it wouldnt make much sense because it already happens, and if it doesnt happen its pretty much only because nobody looked at the playerlist or remembered the owners name.

Dont mean to bump this but heres my attempt of a checkmark.

This makes sense too. :> 16x16 versions of that checkmark (right=most bright):

Eh… Ill just stick with this. :swag:

Also we need tooltips so when you mouse over it explains the icon…

And we need the ability to report players, while using custom leaderboards…

Edit: Oh dang, we can, by using the Esc menu. :>
