Ctrl + Shift + F (General Search) Crashes Studio

When I press Ctrl + Shift + F, while selecting any text in script editor, it freezes completely. The editor becomes unresponsive and I cannot perform any actions - clicking, typing, or using other features all fail to work. I have to force close Studio when this happens.

This occurs since 2015 (apparently) and still hasn’t been fixed somehow? :skull:

Steps to reproduce:

Open Roblox Studio
Press Ctrl + Shift + F while selecting anything in script editor
Studio freezes immediately

Expected behavior

The Search function should open and operate normally without impacting Studio’s performance.

This also happens to me, but it isn’t immediately reproducable (seems to happen after 4h+ of active usage)
(Legacy/non-react) explorer also sometimes will stay on infinite loading and be unresponsive
