Developer Hub API Reference Down

Looking into the root of the issue.

We are currently reworking the application to make it more stable, but its a refactor of the whole foundation of the app so we appreciate any and all patience with current errors until we roll the update out.

We believe the site errors are now subsided.

My pages are still not loading unfortunately.

I am still having issues, the site doesn’t respond when I try to see a class (Properties seem to work, classes don’t), it takes forever until finally it gives up and throws a 504.

If you need it, my request ID is:

Can confirm some docs are still having outages.

This URL for example infinitely hangs for me. https://developer.roblox.com/api-reference/function/MessagingService/PublishAsync

Still happening to me. The page for ContextActionService doesn’t load, for example.

Everything seems to be working for me. Before developer hub was down some pages lacked information, for example PostAsync didn’t have its code sample and it seemed to only be happening to me and not other people for some reason, now everything seems fixed.

If you’re having issues, try performing a hard refresh to clear the cache. I had to do this before the Developer Hub loaded properly.

Still broken/down. Just get a constant Loading and about:blank on every developer hub page. Cleared my cache as well

The site seems to be working for me now! No errors, everything seems fine, been able to access every page

Glad it’s fixed now (At least for me), I’d tell everyone to try again now to see if the problem got fixed.

The NotificationService API Reference page is entirely missing, and might be related to this issue.

Im seeing many (or not seeing) missing sections

https://developer.roblox.com/en-us/api-reference/class/UserGameSettings
Failed to load resource: The operation couldn’t be completed. (kCFErrorDomainCFNetwork error 303.)
https://developer.roblox.com/en-us/api-reference/class/Humanoid
page appears empty with some errors in the console about missing scripts.

The Class list is looking rather sparse too.
https://developer.roblox.com/en-us/api-reference/index

Amongst others

Back down for me again, this time with HTTP 504.

Whatever changes are occurring may not be stable yet. I’m surprised because 1) this should be effectively static cached content and 2) no where near the number of users for the primary Roblox service(s), just a comparatively small number of Builders accessing it.

Having the same problem, really upsetting.

Attempted to visit Sound.RollOffMode, and the Developer Hub gave me a “502 Bad Gateway” error. Upon further searching it appears that only the “API Reference” and “Resources” pages that are down, everything else appears to be in working order.

Attemping to visit multiple different tutorials/documentations will sometimes result in getting a “502 Bad Gateway” error. One specific link I have experienced is Handling Events although this doesn’t seem to be down for everyone.

… Aaaand it’s back online for me again. So only down for about an hour.

It was the entire API Reference section of the site, so:

https://developer.roblox.com/en-us/api-reference

and everything underneath it, not just specific pages in the API manual.

Site is back working normally again, API References and the Resources page now work normally again. Not sure if this was a bug or just a random blip with the site as some were able to access it and some weren’t.

There was indeed some down time yesterday – our team resolved the issue shortly after.
