Discord Moderation Commands

:bulb: This guide is intended to be a general rundown of what commands that are accessible to moderators to keep the chat moderated.

:closed_book: Keep in mind that this guide only contains the basic commands on our server. If you would like to browse for a more informative guide for more commands, please feel free to review the command list provided by the bot if you’d like to.

:bulb: In Enroute, we do not kick players for their wrongdoings. We focus on giving verbal warnings, warnings and bans only as we do not see any benefits of kicking someone. By kicking someone, they’ll just rejoin again. This is the reason why we disabled the kick command.

:spiral_notepad: We will be listing down a list of commands that will help you moderate the server. The majority of the commands are pretty self explanatory, so I don’t think I need to provide further information about the performance for each command.

There are multiple commands that are restricted to MR Team+, which means the command will not execute if you have not reached the required rank to execute the command, requirement of commands will be listed below.

  • !moderations
  • !warn [User ID] [Reason]
  • !delwarn [Warn ID]
  • !warnings [User ID]
  • !clearwarn [User ID]
  • !mute [User ID] [Duration] [Reason]
  • !unmute [User ID]
  • !deafen User ID]
  • !undeafen [User ID]
  • !duration [Case ID] [Duration]
  • !case [Case ID]
  • !modlogs [User ID]
  • !remind me [Time] [Reminder]

:closed_book: In the event that you may need to change the duration such as a mute of a user, simply use the “!duration” command in order to change the duration, this works for bans made by the Administration Team+ aswell.

:closed_book: If you’d like to have a list of who is currently muted and how long their duration is, simply use the “!moderations” to check. This works for time-based bans aswell, non time-based bans will not work with this command.

Restricted

:spiral_notepad: The ban and purge commands are currently only reserved for the Administration Team+. Whereas the lockdown commands in the other hand may only be used by the HR Team+. This is to prevent any abuse of these commands.

  • !purge [Message Count]
  • !ban [User ID]
  • !unban [User ID]
  • !lockdown
  • !lockdown end

:tada: This is the conclusion of this guide for our fellow staff members. If you do have any questions or concerns about any commands here, you are always free to ask us! Please note that we do have custom commands which can be seen at other guides, feel free to look at it.
