Supervising Trial Moderators

:bulb: Action will always be louder than words, both Training and Staff Applications does not determine a player’s capability in order to moderate the server. This is why we supervise a Trial Moderator for at least 3 days before they are promoted to a moderator with access of moderating commands by a Chief Administrative Officer.

:spiral_notepad: The Senior Moderator will be responsible for supervising Trial Moderators in order to determine their capability of moderating the server if they are alone. Senior Moderators may use moderating commands to assist them during supervising.

:closed_book: Do make sure that the Trial Moderator does not have the “Awaiting Training” role as they are not trained yet and must not be supervised. You may only train those who does not have the role “Awaiting Training”.

After supervision, Senior Moderators must hand in a report of the Trial Moderator’s performance to a member of our Chief Administrative Officer. Reports sent to the Chief Administrative Officer must be include;

  • How did they took care of mod scenes?
  • Was their punishments given correct?
  • Were they polite to players?
  • Was there any grammatical errors?
  • Did they obey traffic rules?
  • How was their driving?

After each report received by the Chief Administrative Officers are responsible to log the Trial Moderator’s performance report given by the supervisor in the appropriate Trello Board given to you.

:closed_book: During supervision by a Senior Moderator, Trial Moderators must not be left alone by themselves in order to handle a mod scene, Senior Moderators must always be at their side to assist whatever issues they have.

:closed_book: Fellow Senior Moderators, I hope you all be able to assist Trial Moderators if they have any concerns. I also wish you all to be able to volunteer in order to supervise our Fellow Trial Moderators whenever they request one.

:closed_book: We highly recommend Senior Moderators to give some images of your Trial Moderator during supervision! The Chief Administrative Officer may ask any other additional questions as well if they would like to learn more about the Trial Moderator.

:tada: This guide is extremely simple and straightforward, there should not be a problem in supervising Trial Moderators. Though, if you have any questions or concerns about supervising Trial Moderators, you are always welcome and free to ask a fellow staff member who has experience with this!
