This has existed for like a month already and I’ve noticed that it hasn’t added any new colours… It’s still the same brick colour ids but built into a slider instead of a lot of colour circles.
Before: (with all those colour circle gradients)

After: (Colour circle gradients got put into each colour slider gradient)
image
So there’s less colour circles since it got put into each slider gradient, and so basically there’s no new colours as I even checked the APIs, like Roblox has a set amount of Brick colours and that’s what avatars use.
image
Basically each slider increment is a brick colour, so you won’t be able to use any specific colour codes and only the 75 brick colours Roblox avatars have got.

Like here I want that specific colour code and roblox translates it to the closest brick colour id

actually nvm, the APIs return the closest brick colour as 1013 but in-game it’s correct.

ok its because the website of Roblox avatar editor still uses V1 API, so forget what I said sorry

Keyword, Avatar Editor in experiences.

Here is the Formula to calculate the enforcment for Default Clothing.

I worked on writing that Guide yesterday, then realized an issue in my Example Code. And today I fixed it. Basically, I was using wrong math, and the results didn’t match the calculator. But now, it’s accurate.

Great, but why not a simple color wheel to summarize all this. lol

especially since that used to be a feature, still glad they’re doing something about it tho!

Great Update! Although I do wish for this to be added on the website’s avatar editor.

This is a good update! But you should add it to the website too, a lot of people might not want to use the desktop app.

Some good updates are happening (finally)

I wouldn’t consider the sliders in Catalog Avatar Creator something that requires “excessive technical knowledge.” It’s also not a glitch, they just silently enabled the feature not so long ago, so avatar editor games could take advantage of it before it was fully rolled out and announced. That being said, I agree that being able to use a full color wheel, or even just text boxes for RGB/Hex input would be a fantastic addition to the editor so we wouldn’t have to use the API website or an avatar editor game to get the exact colors we want.

That is too much of an inconvinence.

Instead of using this feature to create more accurate realistic skintones, I will be using it to color match to ugly Roblox hats. Thanks.

Awesome. This feature is amazing ngl.

I don’t see why roblox doesn’t let us do this right now. It would avoid having to have sliders for every skin color too.

still, W update and a step towards the right direction!

Ah - My English is poor
Technical knowledge in my post is intended to refer to the API stuff - Not Catalog Avatar creator, my bad

uh… so you took away an option, just to release it as a “new feature”? is this really necessary. theres so many more things you guys could add, without taking away anything beforehand

Finally I can be rgb(4, 20, 69)

That has most likely to do with people abusing the color picker for nude in lego games.
