HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
This is absolutely hilarious, but the fun days of watching script kiddies get in futile fights and ddos eachother over their precious scripts are over. How entertaining it was.

YES! YES! YES!
FINALLY!!! ITâS HAPPENING!!!
Itâs about time that the ones cracking Robloxâs shell finally realize that itâs better to be white hat than black hat.
This is the collab of the century. Rest assured, Iâm certain that this collaboration will guarantee bulletproof exploit protection coming forward. This is a massive step in the right direction for exploit-proofing the platform.
Way to go, for even negotiating with the opposite side. I never thought this day would come.
tom and jerry resoultion, but for real this was very unexpected how the turn tables!
roblox is doing that job for you so you donât have to pay script kiddies to 'sploit proof your game.
roblox IS 'sploit proofing your game. for free. doesnât that sound better than to take money out of your own pocket to pay for someone who, ideally will probably show the exploits that are really important to a group of friends or even a forum of other hackers?
itâs a bad idea in general to bring exploiters into the development of a game. sure, you get to patch exploits, but why donât you let roblox do that for you?
Completely disagree, would be a massive data protection violation and there wouldnât be a way to determine âwho hacked for long periods of timeâ - developers used this as a tool to pentest their games. Giving this type of data to Roblox would be dangerous to say the least, especially if they acted upon it.
this is a hilarious partnership. But this is just going to leave a void for others exploit programs to fill.
Synapse X Redemption arc, this is crazy
This isnât protecting the games at all. In fact, itâs doing the complete opposite. The only thing theyâre doing is setting a precedent that people donât need to secure their games. No matter what theyâll be exploits and by making announcements like this without much thought some people are bound to not secure their games as well. Overall, Roblox shouldnât of made a announcement at all about this and just did this in secret.
TLDR: Roblox isnât going to fully patch anything so thereâs no reason to sit by idlily waiting for no reason.
Biggest plot-twist in the history of ROBLOX, but I believe this just goes to show that they still care about their platform.
Great step in the right direction!
as the old saying goes: if you canât beat em, join em
And you think this would have had a better response?
I disagree with you, how does this set a precedent that people shouldnât secure their games? Any half-decent programmer knows the basics on how to secure their scripts to prevent abuse.
If Roblox had stated âdonât worry about exploiting anymore guys!â then yes, youâd have a point, but they simply didnât. Their goal is to majorly crush exploiting, they specific wording is âto take another step towards this goalâ. They never said it was completely fulfilled, and exploiting was stopped.
The only circumstance in which people would believe that âexploiting is goneâ is if they failed to properly read the post and failed to use common sense.
Truly one of the biggest anime plot twists of all time.
And a welcome one, at that.
Roblox didnât just come in and say âHey, you donât have to secure your games anymore!â, nor did they even do anything to imply that. All they said is that they now have ex-exploit creators working with them. This is no different to them announcing the Byfron anti-cheat, plus everyone wouldâve found out anyway with Synapse just randomly dying.
And sure, some people (one of them seems to be the person youâre replying to lol) will think they donât need to try and secure their games anymore, especially now that a bunch of well-known exploits are being abandoned. But when their games fall to exploiters in the future, theyâll only have themselves to blame. Thereâs no reason to argue with those who donât ever want to learn like that.
You really should not hold Roblox responsible for other peoples stupidity like this. And Iâm one of those people who could criticize this company for weeks straight (ESPECIALLY RECENTLY), yet even I know that this isnât their fault, not at all. Announcing this was pretty good IMO, it made some other well-known exploits close their doors as well.
they actually recognized Synapse, nice!
Finally, itâs over. After years of working on an in-game anti-cheat project, my journey has come to an end. And uhh⌠Iâm feeling a bit shocked and somewhat going madness by this announcement too
However, now that theyâve been bought by ROBLOX, Iâm not sure if itâs worth it or not.
Iâm still aware that they might have something going on behind the scenes because the message itself seems a bit peculiar to me.
I hope nothing bad is happening to the platformâŚ
Awesome news!
This things will be changing the roblox!
crazy, despite the fact that 3dsboy is gonna get sued for breach of contract (giving out user data), this is a good thing for robloxâs anticheat, definitely would help with new developers who dont know how to make secure scripts or anticheats
The owner of synapse also made an Linux port for roblox with basically no issues, which an entire team couldnât do that, so donât know what you rambling about
This is the part where Roblox became Heisenberg.
