Hi everyone! I recently completed my biggest project, and I’m preparing it for advertising on Roblox.
Here’s what the game is all about:
It’s a story single player game with 14 levels that takes 3 hours to complete (At least that’s how long it took me to complete).
The game also has multiplayer in which there is a main "Team Battle" mode - 5v5 battles for the team of Roblox and Darkland, using a system of traps on the maps, and special abilities unique for each player (Starting from a speed boost to a rhinoceros that runs back and deals damage to everyone).
Therefore, I have some doubts about the game, even though I like it - I want to know your opinion about the game:
Is the game very difficult?
Is the game interesting?
Is the game “bugged”? And if so, where in general?
Does the design of the game attract? Or it will most likely get lost among the rest.
I also want to know your impressions of the single player story campaign and the multiplayer game. I bet that the new player will first go through the single player campaign, and then go into the multiplayer game. Or, if the player goes directly to multiplayer but there is no online (Because I have a small budget for advertising), he will spend time in the single player campaign, but in any case, the player will not be left without content.
I’m not sure if it’s a bug or not, but in the first level, you can’t use the plank and it doesn’t glow until you put your radio away. I spent a good 5 minutes trying to figure it out lol.
Have you thought about using a character script that raycasts upon click for object interaction? Might let you get around that issue. The only other thing I’d say is sometimes it feels like there’s a fog or something around me that limits the light making it quite hard to see. Other than that, it’s a great game. Nice work!
I will try this method to solve the problem, thanks!
As for the fog, it seems to me that the level itself is rather dark, so there is not enough light here (Although it used to be even darker), but this is already easily fixable.
