Hey developers!
I don’t usually make GFX’s and this is my 5th GFX I’ve made in my time of developing. This is going to be the logo of my group, IntrepidNation. So what do you all think of it?

It looks a bit empty to me. If the head is the logo, it is kind of small. The text’s font could be changed as it is so normal. The paint splashes is kind of random.
Maybe put the name and head closer together
It’s very good compared to my logo creating skills
not going to lie, looks pretty generic. I see this “style” of design all the time especially the head. The paint splatter doesn’t really fit and is distracting. I think a better way to approach this is to trace the head as a vector. Sometimes (but not always) simple is better. the font could be changed too. a great resource for fonts that are high quality, and don’t require attribution is Google Fonts. doing it for him wont really help. The only time you would have someone do it is if what you are trying to do would not be worth the time to do, or you are just lazy, which neither is the case. If you do happen to make it for him, show him the process so he can learn how to do it himself. not having to rely on other people to do things for you (aka independence) is highly valuable.

I admit with that, the paint splatter doesn’t really fit in with the logo, I’ll remove it and maybe make some nice matching replacements.

Anyways, I don’t usually make any type of art online so thats why this thing seems not good. I usually make showcases, builds, etc. I’m still learning making GFX because it is one of the parts of making a good game. Also, as my title said:

Well then you should probably render it.
I’d suggest you fix the paint splatter. The paint splatter itself is okay but the way you put it on isn’t.
Or you could turn them into waves.
Looks pretty good, but remove the splat and maybe make the text a bit more bold.
2 things. Zoom in on yourself. Put the test above your head.
